So yesterday my new recruiter came over. My old recruiter was sent off to Korea, so it was basically to meet the "new guy in town."
We chatted for a bit, less about the army and more about life in general, our personal lives, etc. Turns out he's got a kid and just moved to my town etc, etc. At some point we started talking about videogames, and I explained to him "yeah, I was considering going into strategic ops because I used to play this game Infiltration, but you've probably never heard of it..."
"Oh, yeah, I've played that."
Word.
We talked a little bit more about videogames, discussed Green to Gold and me going in as an E-4 or straight to OCS (he wants me to E-4...I saw that one coming) as well as slots, SF and SO training, whatever.
And Sgt. Laney, if by any chance you're lurking this, sorry for the way my Dad acted. And how he looked. Seriously, who wears a headset for a cordless phone. Gay.
