Back on topic, many of us would like to see a full auto version of the M16, be it a C7 or whatever,

Its been done (the C7), i think it was Olethros, and its main feature was that you could check the magazine quantity.


I swear, if anyone bitches about the INF forums lacking the 'zing' that they used to, i'm going to point them to Jaunty.

Hmm, I just can't picture an M16 on full auto, it just seems it would be too light and kick you all over the place. But on the other hand, I can picture the M16A1 with its triangular guard at full auto more than I can the A2 with its wide round guard that is somewhat hard to hold on to. I like the M4 in full auto because it reminds me of a lighter AK and I think thats what the military was going for when the made it. Something in an CQB/Entry weapon that was controllable on full auto. Personally though, my favorite is still the weapon I own which is the AKM with the RPK 76 round drum mag.
