Skaarjs - those bastards dodge almost every possible shot!

Except Grenades, Flak Shells, Blades, BioGlobs and hitscanz.

The biggest mistake people make when it comes to mercs (I've seen this so frequently even from experienced players) is that they keep shooting them when they're shielded. No!

Take your distance, use those corners (if possible) and launch an appropriate attack when they unshield. Shock combos are very effective :smug: or just a mag to the head.
It really is wasting precious ammo. I know, mercs are evil etc. but hold your water for a sec or two.

And obviously, never try the Eightball's Lockon. Spam the "stay on another floor" strategy.

My favourite is asmd primary. Or shoot a secondary ball above their heads and by the time they react...
Or ye ol' flakcannon projectile.

The Mantas look cool but technically they are one of the worst creatures. They have fake/insta-hit melee attacks and sometimes they fly to the sky without any reason.
We need more Slith, but I'm afraid I'm the only one to comprehend their awesomeness.

I remember being somewhat blown away by the flocks in this game. The biter fish, small flies, and circling birds. It doesn't sound like much now, but back then I'd never seen anything like it. Those tiny flies are very detailed for what they are.

You could shoot down the eagles, right? I remember doing it.

You can. Only in the Beta version of Toxic there was an use for doing that.

Set the drawscale of those horseflies to 30 or 50. Ah, you can mess around so much in unreal.

Pupae (tiny freakazoids)

Fly & Gasbag & Pupae always scared the crap out of me when playing for the 1st time
