For Windows users it is a bit tricky getting this game to work because it was designed with Mac users in mind. Marathon is by far one of the best first person shooters ever made and Mac users got it first.
First off you are going to need AlephOne This is used to play Marathon on Windows XP.
Here is Marathon Infinity
Marathon 2
Marathon 1
To run these first get Alephaone, make a alpehaone folder for each marathon game, and unzip the files from each marathon download into the alephaone main directory.
Run the .exe named alephone.exe and that will start the game.
Marathon supports OpenGL but it doesn't seem to work, atleast it didnt for me anyways. You can run it at upto 1600x1200, which is cool. You are also going to wan to go through the prefense settings first before playing the game as it uses ancient keybaord settings. Back in the day people didnt use WASD for movement, nor did they use a mouse.
This also has free look with the mouse to, so that is kicking-rad.
Multiplayer support doesn't seem to work either with Windows XP, which is a shame because Marathon Infinity has over 80 multiplayer maps.
