Not all numbers dived by themselves come out to one. Zero is a number, and zero divided by zero is Indeterminate.

Any number divided by zero is not zero.

For example, 10 divided by 0 = ?

10 / 0 = x
0 times x = 10
What number is x?

silly math n00b! x is a letter not a number:lol:

I don't belive in exceptions to rules, as exceptions can't be broken.
Any number devided by itself equals 1.
0/0 without exceptions = 1
and my calculator says if I divide any number by zero, I get zero.
Why would my calculator lie to me?
Ha, then my windoze computer calculator says "cannot divide by zero" !!!
and "0/0 = undefined". Make up your mind, is it undefined or cannot be done?
I can multiple each side of an equation by zero and get 0=0 !
Then why don't I get zero when I divide zero by zero? It should be one right? Heck, if you replace zero with a variable, say "x", and do this:
x/x=1
I smell an algrebric conspiracy, and it smells like Rosie!

See, your problem is that you're using electronics to solve the problem. You need a pencil, paper, and some WD-40 to perform the operation.
