Well, so, since obviously none of the other people going to JELP will read this posting anymore... :B :D

...I plan on coming to JELP sometime Saturday afternoon. Probably not "early afternoon" because I won't be able to take off too early, but then I suppose even if I get there in the early evening that still won't be long after some of the JELPers' subjective morning. :p

...... and we are back home, sniff!!

It was a great long weekend, thx to everybody joining for making it a great different JELP fragging weekend. We played a lot of jailbreak but also tried some other games. It was great fun to learn to play Counter strike, I am nearly addicted. :D We ended up with 23 people joining, some known faces and some new faces, some un expected last minute arrivals, (Tri3st), it was fun having you there, hope you will try and join our lockdowns.

Mychaeel, it was fun having you there, next time we hope you will join for a longer time! ;)

It was fun killing you again Tiefflieger, even in CS. :p
To Dyna, you need a new mouse! That poor mouse of yours had a difficult time at the JELP, even falling appart two times (me wonders how this is possible) :D Wonder upon wonder my pc survived all the blows to the table.

To the coffee ladies, thx for all the coffee service :fluffle: YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Thx Angie for the Bratwurst it tasted good.

Sautje, don't forget that there is live other then LARRY!!! :D

I had a great time, thank you everybody for making JELP 2005 a blast!

Yes, definitely a blast. It was great being there. \o/

I very much enjoyed the games, the people I met, the beer, of course the "Authentic Dutch" Apfelkorn (with ice), the coffee and everything else. Count me in for JELP 2006... :D

I particularly remember the JB2004 tournament with great fondness. We -- that is, team Apfelkorn -- actually evened out the score against team Grolsch in JB-Arboria just two (!) seconds before the end of the match in semi-finals and won another capture in overtime. In the finals, we had a great match going on against team Hertog Jan in JB-Basmma which was standing at 3:3 until Hertog Jan made the decisive capture just ten seconds before going into overtime.

[edit]
Those who weren't there, take a guess how teams were chosen. :p

We also enjoyed the J.E.L.P. 2005 very much!!!! :D

It was so nice to see you all again and get to know the new ones. :)

Everybody was very kindly and jolly, we had a lot to talk and to laugh and really had a great time!!!
Thank you for everything!

We also learned some new dutch words like "Speklappen" and "abdrogen". ;) Next time you can learn some new german words. :biggrin2:

When we drove home to Germany we (Angie and Bea-Bomber) thougt about the J.E.L.P. 2006, where it should happen and especially at which time. Maybe we can choose May 2006, when the germans have a public holiday called Whitsun. This hangs on to monday. Maybe you have this public holiday in the rest of the JB-world too.

Thank you for everything! :wavey:

Yeah, still alive!!! I survived the JELP 2005.

I'm trying to pick up my normal working life again at the moment, but actually I'm too tired to even try. I should have taken the day off to get some sleep which I missed out on this weekend.

I had great fun. And even though it was one day longer then last year, it still felt like it was over too quick. Great games, great laughs and great people again.

Thanks to everbody who made this weekend possible.
Now it's back to work again. And if I fall asleep face down on my desk, don't wake me up, I need it.
(Hmmm ... or shall I take the afternoon off?)

Lol, just got home and talking about JELP2006 already??? :D:D:D

@Dalton : Sry, it seems that the local stats logging for the JB2004 server did not work at all (blame the crappy admin :p)

Hi everybody!

I really had a great time this weekend. To me its more fun every year. I am not a gamer at all, at home I nearly play UT at all. But this weekend I played so much, allmost the most hours UT99 of everybody :D . Unbelievable, isn't it?

I think we all had so much fun with each other: shooting :flak: , shouting, doing the dishes  , talking, bringing coffee and cookies around, drinking  and hugging :fluffle: etc.

I certainly will join the next jelp! In Holland we don't have holiday in May, but we could always take some days off, especially monday to get some rest ;) .

See you all soon,

Pinowife.

When can we expect the pictures to be posted? Especially those of us all huddling beneath Boost's umbrella, and the in-game one Snow took? :D

That trueblood, is the 2 player mode of ut2004, rules are simple, one operates the keyboard, and the other one operates the mouse. really fun

JELP was great, when can we sign up for the next one?

Hey all.
Just wanted to say that I too had a great "weekend". Too bad I was at the JELP so short. But the bunch managed to get me enthousiastic and I'll try to attend more LAN party's and tournaments.

For those who weren't instructed by boost or Cooldude : I am boost's nefew. A south-african :D

So until the next LanParty or Tournament ..

This was Tri3st,
Serving to be shot by people who spend as much time gaming online as I do rearranging the Beer in the fridge ...
