USG Server got Unfair ISP Problems tonight

After having checked the log files of the server i was surprise to see that the server never restarted on a crash but just have big ISP problems.

I just seen a huge load of errors messages like :

NetComeGo: Close TcpipConnection xx.xx.xx.xx:3059 Thu Jun 9 20:20:20 2005
...
Log: Received ICMP port unreachable from xx.xx.xx.xxx:44589. No matching connection found.
...
Then after a while UT2Vote restarted the map because the server was empty since a moment ?! But it continued with same error messages until all left the server.

All show that my linux box as been booted out of the internet access for a while, i must contact my ISP GameServers.nl about this.

I have a alarm email on our admin mailbox about players who have thinked about been continualy kicked out of our invasion server whithout reasons. They have all had again and again some "Lost conection messages".

Im hungry about my ISP because i have never had such problems, and this append when we host for the first time a tournament !!! I'm sorry for the teams who have played tonight. I just hope it will not append again or i will turn evil.

Um, yeah I don't see any problems now with that time. I'll ask Axl to put it on vwar and we should get commitments from everyone in a few days.

Edit: A couple of our guys have a match (for a different clan) at 21 CET that day, is it possible we could move the start time up half an hour to an hour or just agree to get started very promptly?

Sat 11 June CTM - Tarts 0-3

3-4 on Gauntlet (CTM choice) (approved by Tarts)
1-4 on Grudge (Tarts choice)
0-9 on Basmma (MapVote)

The victory dance for CTM after tonights first game didn't last very long. The Tarts started off the tournament with a smashing 3-0 victory. The two Tart brothers (see the Signup list) decided to go undercover and change their names to some beermarks. Well played.

Screenshot info: The fifth CTM player left 3 minutes before the end of the third map, the score at that time already was 0-8.

Sun 12 June CTM - Victory 0-3

1-3 on Gauntlet (CTM choice) (approved by Victory)
0-11 on Arboria (Victory choice)
1-15 on Basmma (MapVote)

It was obvious some CTM players haven't been playing Jailbreak much. It was tough for them to play a hardcore Jailbreak team who have been playing some maps for ages. This fact is definitly showing in the score. Well played though.

Sun 12 June Tarts - Chaos 0-3

2-3 on Babylon Temple (Tarts choice)
1-2 on Castlebreak (Chaos choice)
2-4 on Furia (MapVote)

Even though the final result was a 3-0 for Chaos, it was a close game.
Unorganized Chaos starting to look like Organized Chaos more and more.

Just before the match the USG server crashed, and didn't return in time. 4WD was kind enough to quickly reconfigure his iJB server so we could use that one. I'm glad to see the USG server being up and running again.

[TT]Kinetik disconnected in the third map for some reason. The Tarts played on with a bot as 5th player.

As it was difficult for both teams to play on the 21 June, I got a new date from the DF for the match DF vs TEZC.
Mon 20 June 20:00 DF vs TEZC MS server.

Tue 14 June TEZC - Victory 3-0

5-2 on Cosmos (TEZC choice)
2-1 on Arboria (Victory choice)
5-4 on Basmma (MapVote)

Geez, intensive games those were. Especially the last two matches which both went into overtime, with some remarkable last man releases on both sides.
I hoped Victory would at least steal one map away from TEZC. Even with the advantage of knowing the last maps inside-out, it wasn't enough and all three games resulted in favour of TEZC. TEZC just seem to be unstoppable.
Thanks for the great games, guys.

Wed 15 June USG - TEZC 0-3

0-12 on Grudge (USG choice)
1-4 on Cosmos (TEZC choice)
1-6 on Babylon (MapVote)

Also USG wasn't able to stop the winning streak of TEZC, which are with one leg in the semi-finals (or is it two legs already?).
One of the teams still has a possibility to get their revenge then.

To all teams: make sure you'll end in the top four of the ranking. In that case you still have a chance to win the tournament.

Thu 16 June Tarts - Victory 2-1

2-1 on Crusher2 (Tarts choice) (approved by Victory)
0-4 on Arboria (Victory choice)
1-0 on Snifam (MapVote)

Spammy maps this time, especially Crusher-2 and Snifam. Again it didn't help Victory to get their desired win. The Tarts just were better spammers ;)

Thu 16 June USG - Chaos 1-2

4-3 on Babylon Temple (USG choice)
0-1 on Castlebreak (Chaos choice)
1-4 on Aswan (MapVote)

No screenshots were taken.

The Aswan map crashed a couple of minutes before the end. Because USG already was behind 4-1, they decided the gap was too big to restart and play the last couple of minutes. It was known the Aswan map could crash. For that reason the Tournament Team decided to remove that map from the available maplist. The tournament rules will be updated. From now on:

During the tournament, it's not allowed to vote for JB-Aswan anymore.

Fri 17 June DF - Victory 0-3

2-4 on Babylon Temple (DF choice)
0-6 on Arboria (Victory choice)
3-4 on Basmma (MapVote)

In the last game of Team Victory, they managed to get their desired win which was needed to still have a chance for the next round. All that last for them is wait and keep an eye on the scores of the other teams.
The Dutch Fighters lost this game, however they still got the matters into their own hands. For them it's a matter of winning at least one of the three upcomming matches.

Sat 18 June USG-CTM 3-0

Too bad, we waited for 30 minutes, but none of the CTM members showed up.
This means CTM forfeited and USG has got their first win.

Do USG still have a chance if they beat The Tarts? It all depends on the other results then ...
