INF beta test session

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I fixed it, sorta...

I installed the OLD Unreal sound drivers awhile ago, but MogueBeta1 crashes whenever I tried to use the OpenAL or FMOD sound drivers. The other driver, Galaxy 3D Audio was what I have to use to make the map work. Still very odd though.

can you do another beta test soon, my internet cut out so i couldnt give any feedback.

i can look at the map in my own time but i want to see how it plays on the internet.

florida... and on a weekend. saturdays are best, around 1:00pm - 7:00pm, GMT -05:00 a.k.a. eastern time, lol. another reason for having to do a beta session is the walkthrough.. i'll never find hidden stuff. lol. from what i saw though, it looked good. keep it up. :)

i'll get back to you on the actual date..

this map has some potential

comments:

take some time to polish it, add more ground textures , more building details, more things on the ground.

add roof entries everywhere you can


dont go too far in details in the central place; for FPS.


i like the design. its not too small or too 1 routed. if you have many buildings and entries it wont be like 1 route.

i would like to see it as a evening map too. (like in the movie)

liked the map, as an alpha, good to see all those questions in the forum had an end ;-)

I had the same sound bug, maybe its due to all the BG music, which quality did you coded those musics? Perhaps if you use .umx instead of merging to the map...

And I make chorus qith the others: more escape routes, slow pacing choppers and using random decos and the flying paper generators will do a blast for your map, Smeerkat! XD
