Sony will also be named in the lawsuit, because Grand Theft Auto was made exclusively for its Play- Station consoles. Sony declined to comment on the case.
Isn't that a little like sueing the manufacturer of your television because your unsupervised kid saw Superman and decided to see if he could fly by jumping off the roof of your apartment building? Even if the case were legit and videogames actually did influence violent behaviour, I don't understand how Sony is responsible for the game being on their console.

It's obvious that these 'tards are only after money.

It's also interesting that they proudy state that a 14 year old and a 16 year old were playing an MA18 rated game unsupervised and don't seem to see any poblem with it. Where the f*ck were their parents during all this?

Every generation has had to deal with this bull****. The parents of my parents believed that Rock and Roll music was the source of all evil in the world. The only difference is that people weren't nearly as sue-happy as they are today.

It is only stuff, but it's stuff I bought by working a ****ty tedious job. I can't replace the time I spent earning the money to buy it.

In any case, it is MY stuff not THEIR stuff. Why should I be happy about people taking MY stuff?

MY stuff > Criminals "rights" AFIAC.

What is wrong with people? Since when did "Take my stuff, just for the love of god leave me alone" become an acceptable way of dealing with criminals?

If I catch someone robbing my house, given half a chance I am going to mess them up.

I think the victims families should sue the killer's families for being ****ty parents.

Yesterday I jumped on my riced-out go-kart and began throwing rotten banana peels and turtle shells at innocent bystanders! God damn you Mario Kart!

If/when I ever have a kid(s), I'll allow him/her to play whatever they want, as long as I've made certain that there is a true difference between pixelated blood spray, and the real thing.

"Hey man, nice shot. Now here is a picture of someone who was shot in the real world. Notice how the breastplate was shattered upon impact, shredding the internal organs. That shit hurts son, videogames dont. Now then, prepare to suffer the wrath of Cap'n Headshot!"

Of course the morons are going to claim they were acting as if they were playing real-life GTA3. That way they don't get kicked in their nuts by their 'parents'.

http://www.penny-arcade.com knows what's wrong with today's parents :

you know, I think its ridiculous the way they link violence to video games, like violence didn't exist before video games.
