I've been correcting people, telling them it's "vertecies" and not vertexes...

I used to be really really good at spelling,but after only scribling on repair forms for 25 years I know now one can loose it if they don't use it.
But I also got poor grades in english class,I never did learn completly correctness of it all.

seems very hard to learn another language,cause if ya don't grow up with it ,seems extra extra difficult.

I don't know how hard it would be to learn english,seems everybody manages somehow.accept all these people crossing the US border ,either learn english enough to be here or deport there A__.

Yes I have a german section of a schematic,for MY rotel old amp and man "it" seems to be like 20 letters.
Waaaaay long words for allmost anything,huge words.

Oh my grandpa was a kid ,when they came to the shores of usa from the netherlands,so i am basicaly dutch.my ma is part ukranian
and am sure several others in there too.but basicaly american dutch mutt dog.(hallander)

Actually these long german words are made up of several words put together.
unneccesarily hard grammar, blame it on the monks who first set a standard for the german language(and doomed us with so much other rules that don't even exist in english or has been simplified)
A friend of mine once tried to put an extremly long word together. In the end he had severla hundred words used up for it and it still made sense.

Btw. dutch people are the scum of europe, the only people less liked are belgians
