Well it's something we'd like to do, but we haven't started on the development of one so it won't make it into the first release. Plus we'd like to get the weapon handling sorted out beforehand so it doesn't become a whore weapon.

What you mean with 'magazines will not be located under one's armpit'? You mean bullpop design? At least the bullpop design is more the way for the future than conventional front-magazines.

That is an example of a bullpup design.

Note that in all of those, the magazine is more than 1 inch from the end of the stock. Closer to the elbow, and more easily and comfortably accessable. The last the that I want when I am shooting is the end of the magazine jabbing into my side.

And out of curiosity, how did you come to settle for a semi-futuristic gameplay ? Is it because a realistic mod would be too much work ?

there was already a sci-fi realism mod for UT and was kinda good, but it always lacked that 'extreme realism' that INF has. The mod had some already existing weapons and some near future ones.

Well for todays times there is INF 2.9 and probably something started this summer.

What type of sci-fi mod? You don't know what it is like yet .

Basically we didn't want to be making another Inf clone nor a copy of Red Orchestra, but we still wanted a realistic theme to it.
