I am not sure how many years they put into the development of Gears engine and the prototype so I start the timing from when Gears 1 was released.
Surely you mean fourWell, using that logic then surely they developed and released two Gears in six years, right?
LOL these guys have successfully managed over the years becoming THE clowns of the industry
And I thought CliffyB was the only immature turd in that company... they are rather all the same there.
You make a good point. But I still say 4 (2006-2012 = 6 years).Gears came out in 2006 and Gears PC doesn't count because it's one of the most horrific port jobs of recent years I've encountered.
A rumor heard, John Romero is working with them on this.
Nexuiz was terrible though. At least the version I played on XBLA.
Looks more like they've scarfed down the whole cake to me.New companies show up to take a bite of the SciFi FPS cake while Epic is standing beside doing nothing to take care of their UT IP.

Id like to see Epic make a statement that UT is THE game when it comes to SciFi FPS games by trimming the game and adding it to Steam as a F2P game just like TF2.
It wouldn't surprise me if it was UT4.
