I would bet a few of these are going to get activated by people who have the game retail non-steam. But it really, really doesn't matter.
Anyway, AFAICR, there is a way to activate your non-steam retail with steam. But you don't want that.

Why wouldn't you? I integrated my non steam copy when I was crazy and decided to reinstall for some reason. Saved me the headache to get the patches and titan update.

UT3's core gameplay is superior to the other reincarnations, yes I enjoy it more than UT's core gameplay. And the weapons are perfect. Too bad the rest of the game fails miserably, and is enough to ruin the experience for everyone else.
