DM-Getherto alpha layout test

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

This one? Yes, it does. :-))) There are some places, where I was not so sure, but this one looks like it deserves a block. You can also hide in the palm leaves (or what it is) in central are under the ceiling window, but it is hard to get there and easy to bring you down with first combo. I don't know if I should block such a places too.

I don't even know how often xloc is used on this kind of map.

Great map dude, I like it alot! very well done. Only very minors bots stuff, but it doe's not affect the game play at all. I did not open ED3 to see the pathing, but you have very good bots in there, good work!

Another thanks... I have to admit, that I don't test any other bots than godlike, because they can show me, how the pathing was grasped by an engine. Still... I can't attract them for liftjump above the a100.

I hate bots... when it comes to aim, they are god(like), when it comes to dodging, they are like ping-pong ball in a hallway, but when it comes to thinking... you know. :-)))

I hope, that in UT2007, I will be able to mark places on walls, where they will perform wall-dodge jumps to specified jumpspots. :-)))))

Final beta reloaded

There were some changes made based on Sjosz's feedback and some blocking volumes added thanks to evil<3 and Turret49. Many textures were scaled down, some cracks into concrete were added, wallpanels extended, minor light changes.

Comprehensible!

Love the atmosphere, visuals, layout, scaling, and gameplay. Like the custom textures, meshes, different ramps, plenty of leaves/plants, the graffiti always awesome, and lol'd about the "Arena Rules" of this map written on the paper (nah! just break the rules if you won't understand the situation :rolleyes:, this is optional when you do it ;)). Also, it has a primary skybox, good weapon/item placements, some z-axis moments, and something good for others. The bots could afford more or less.
