Double post! :p

Gojira - Vacuity - New video at Blabbermouth from their upcoming album The Way Of All Flesh! It's fantastic, a little creepy and with a tiny bit of nudity. Scroll down a bit to find it, I recommend fullscreen.
While probably one of the simplest songs on the album, it's perfect for a video. They had the whole album available for streaming between September 29th and October 5th. The album is awesome, btw. :D

I have a new The Haunted CD which I ordered in to go and pick up today.

I know... I know, they pretty much released the same album 4 times in a row before they released "The Dead Eye". Thankfully I happen to love the pretty much singular style of metal they play, they're probably my favourite along with Gojira at the moment, so looking forward to this one.

I saw Amon Amarth at House Of Metal, 27-28 of february, here in Sweden. They kicked ass, too bad their songs sound so similar. The highlights were Guardians Of Asgaard and Death In Fire.

Danko Jones also played there, right before Opeth. They blew Amon Amarth away completely, believe it or not. Danko Jones is a real comedian between songs and the songs themselves are awesome.
Danko Jones in between songs at HOM '09. :D

But the best part was of course Opeth. This was their setlist:

Heir Apparent
Ghost of Perdition
Godhead's Lament
The Leper Affinity
Credence
Hessian Peel
Closure
The Lotus Eater
Deliverance

There are more good quality videos from HOM on YouTube.

They played everything flawlessly and Mikael got the audience to headbang without music before they played Deliverance, it was hilarious. The Leper Affinity was awesome to both hear and see live, 'cause it's a quite complex song. Hessian Peel was absolutely mindblowing to hear live, as the audience got completely silent during the mellow parts. It's also my favourite track from Watershed. And then we have Deliverance... Seriously, I could die happy after hearing it. It's never been a favourite of mine, but that's definitely changed. I think it's safe to say that seeing Opeth at HOM is the highlight of my life.
