Have ya made your own crosshair? If so post them.

Here's the xhairs rev posted a while ago but got lost in the great forum crash.

I'm looking for a new crosshair right now rev's makes it so I loose track of it cuz it's soo small, but other ones are bigger and make me loose track of the center.

Edit: For ut2k4 you have to make sure the customcrosshair is set right. Anything over 32 works (i think) here's what you see in my user.ini:

CustomCrosshair=64
CustomCrossHairColor=(B=0,G=255,R=0,A=255)
CustomCrossHairScale=1.200000
CustomCrossHairTextureName=ownz.3

Also make sure you have customcrosshairs checked on in the gui before you edit the ini.

It's lose, as in lost.

You can change the size of Rev's...
Just go into your ini file and under the xhair name and so forth there is a CustomCrosshairScale = 0.6 (or whatever number you are currently using). Just change that number (higher to make larger) to suit your needs. Mine is set at: CustomCrosshairScale=0.75

Here are mine, they are really large so you will have to shrink the settings. On the open one I use .45 for the lightning gun, the rest I use at between .25 and .35 to get the names of the textures open the utx file in Ued and they are all there. If you need a readme for this I'll make one.

Unfortunately the dot is so easy to loose in all the details these days :hmm:

For a while i used Cross3 at .45, but since i've turned up the res thanks to a gf4 and i'm going for more accuracy, something less chunky's needed.

Ain't nout wrong with the good old dot, either green, yellow, white or red, you could even make binds to switch colours after you've loaded into an incompatibley coloured map.

TTM 2.3 crosshair #16 is my favorite.

Its the dot with a black outline, set the xhair color to pink
and its very hard to loose track of.

It would be cool if there was like a crosshair editor built into the game,
like the one you get it you select 'pattern' for your windows desktop
background and click to edit the pattern, that way you could make
all kinds of crosshairs without messing with texture packages.

With rev's cross it's a green dot with a black outlining. It stands out really well. Problem is when I make a really sharp movement. When I turn a 180 I have to stop for a second and find it, and in that time I usually end up firing a missed shot.

Remember you HAVE TO shrink these if you don't want a 40x40 icon in the middle of your screen ;)

I think this is all of the ones in the pack. Starting with the one on the left they are named:

BrizzHairs.FullCircle
BrizzHairs.OpenCircle
BrizzHairs.FullSquare
BrizzHairs.OpenSquare
BrizzHairs.WideOpenCircle
