signing in

I have tried several times to sign in to the IP address 68........ PW b.....
but I can only download the map for the game at 11KB so it takes hours to download. My broadband is capable of 15MB, how can I download faster?

Forget FileFactory unless you are a paying member. I use FileFront for everything myself. I think it's better than FilePlanet and other services. Check out the FileFront links in the first post of this thread.

I am honestly considering building a homepage for this, I just need screenshots from some of the maps in every package.

I am talking about when I sign on to the multiplayer/join game part of the game.
also I can't find the site by name......only by the IP address that was given this weekend for the tournament.

I signed on to IP address 68.xxx.xxx.xx used the password, left came back a hour later and I was the only one signed on. what is the name of the site for playing, I could not find it this weekend so I had to use the join IP, that is where I ran into the download problem.

Are you talking about FragBU? You were on that server a couple times today, but remember that FragBU only happens on Friday and Saturday evenings (in North America).

Download links for the maps on the server are in the FragBU thread.

Downloading maps from UT3 servers is something different, much slower, sometimes totally unpractical. It's always better to download the maps and install them before you start the game and connect to the server.

yes it was the fragbu web site, but it was Sat. afternoon.
I can't seem to find the beyond unreal site at all with my search.
Saturday I had to put the IP address in to even find the site then the password.
the webpage said BU was up 24/7. I just don't know how to get to it.

This is not the FragBU thread, you must have got here from the main page. Look around in the UT3 forum section to find the right place to post. You will find much more useful info and replies in other threads regarding FragBU.

I can't seem to get to any of these map packs, as they all default to Filefront's main page. The single maps posted at the end of the first post all link fine, but not the packs.
Anyone else having this problem?
Do I have to be registered with Filefront to get larger files?

Thank you for reporting this!

Didn't I tell you all to get them while you still could? I didn't tell you. Three more files will be up in five hours from now. In hind view, I should have uploaded these files to several accounts so they wouldn't get deleted all at the same time. FileFront is probably cutting their costs by deleting files from users that don't log in that often and I haven't logged in since I uploaded them.

How clever of them. "These files have been downloaded hundreds of times during this month, let's just delete them."

Added Egitim to the list.

UT3 is actually gaining momentum now, at least at the mapping front. There are lots of new maps coming along nicely.

My computer crashed, so the remaining maps won't me up until tomorrow.
