Collection of Deathmatch Maps

I put together some map packs with all the good deathmatch maps I have downloaded over time. All part are stand alone.

Extract the maps with WinRAR (http://rarsoft.com/download.htm) to any sub-folder of UTGame\Published\CookedPC in your UT3 directory.

Glad you like them.

Correct, CBP is already in a bundle. Same thing with the HOLP series.

Subjective judgment is the best. Basically I look at layout and style. Some maps are awful, not very pretty to look at, those were removed early. A map like Grinder-RE got through my esthetical filter by accident I suppose. I no longer have it myself. It's one of those remakes that all old school players remember.

Two Campgrounds because they are both good. Many players compete on Campgrounds in Quake III Arena and Quake Live. The ]I[ version is almost identical to the real deal. The U3 version got a good classic Unreal finish.

Correct, much easier to download, install and store these map packs. FileFactory won't allow files to be larger than 300MB, but it's a decent file size anyway. I would not want to drag files from 60+ archives to install them all either. You can still install them separately, but you still have to download the whole archive unless you find the original release. It's a lot of work to find and link to every single map, so I think this is a good solution. An excellent way to catch up if you want to pick up UT3 again.

I am quite sure you would want this if you are going to reinstall UT3 or install it on a different computer.

Someone actually downloaded some of the archives. If these were made before v2.0 we would have had lots of downloads by now. A healthy 2GB of bonus maps is nice to have.

I must have downloaded Chizra separately. I'll remove it locally, but I won't reupload the archive because of that. Not yet anyway.

Decided to bump this thread since people are still viewing it. Still not many downloads. I presume that most players here have seen all single map releases so far and have the best maps already. The players that ain't here anymore have already moved on to other games.

Nice! I will download these tonight. I lost everything when my hard drive died. Too bad there is no installer to automate that end of it.

That download site makes it very frustrating to DL the files You always have to type the code and then once you do it says there are no free slots open and asks me if I want to pay $79 for the premium service. It's a waste of time attempting to DL from there. It only worked like 1 time in 10. Then you can only DL 1 file and have to wait at least 2 hours to DL another due to limits.

Thanks for the information. Sorry about that. FileFactory can be annoying, but the upload rates are great. They should call it FileHogger, I can't download them either at the moment.

I have reorganized the maps and I will upload them to FileFront also. Although FileFront uploading is very slow, maybe because there are much weekend traffic going on. 250MB will currently take approximately 2h. Large files rarely complete for me, but I will try none-the-less.

They are now called Fuzz DM Classic Vol 1-3 and Fuzz DM Vol 1-4. Updating one file at a time to distribute the workload, more details soon.

As I am looking at this I realize that Morpheus and Prypiat are remakes, aka classic. Will be corrected for the FileFront version.

I will state it again, I didn't make these maps, this is just my personal collection of deathmatch maps.
