Serious Sam may be hard, but Unreal Quake and Doom? Hahah no, those games are easy as piss now, especially Unreal 1 where it's impossible to die.
Halo 1 on Legendary (first example which comes to mind) is overall still harder than any of those, sorry. That doesn't mean I like Halo 1 more than the games you've listed though.

If Bulletstorm is easy then I wouldn't care as long as it is going to be fun (because I love everything they shown, blow **** up, energy leash owns, etc...), and I haven't been hooked to a FPS game since the first FEAR game.

You can't be serious. Halo is a static gallery shooter, you have recharging shields and the enemies barely try to kill you, enjoy camping in cover forever. Sure, Unreal 1 isn't hard for me any more either because I've literally finished it for hundreds of times (sp, coop), yet the AI is still better than Halo's. It also has a continuous stream of new custom single player campaigns that still tend to surprise difficulty wise. Doom II on nightmare is still the hardest FPS I've ever played.

If those games are easy for you then you're either a great FPS player who enjoys stale, boring, easy games, or a poor FPS player who's just talking out of his ass.

Sure, and if I want to see **** blown up with barely any effort on my own part, I'll go see a Michael Bay movie. I'll save 50 bucks this way.

Heh. You can't be serious with the Halo statement. Flood are easy, Elites aren't. I'm not a fan of Halo at all, but the enemies in there did actually try at killing me in an intelligent manner somehow. At least they do more than running/shooting/running/dodge without some bits of strategy involved.

Hell, I'm playing Unreal since it was released and I'm still doing it, reviewing mappacks, and I'm making right now some kind of Mappack based on Excessive Overkill (the mod is EXU2). But sorry, the Unreal AI is now awful and poorly scripted compared to the Halo one or any other recent game, it's all about enemies who predictabily dodge to a chosen position, or someone like a Mercenary who activates God mode. That's it. It's my favourite game ever, but extremely far from being perfect. Similar story with Quake 1 and Doom 1, that I also really like a lot.

The AI was good back then, but now it's weak. It's hard getting in Unreal a properly good difficulty balance. A map can be easily beatable or just frustrating/impossible; as an example, Unreality is absolutely the worst custom mappack for any game ever created, because in Unreal anything that's related to bots or enemy hitscan weapons present in SP can only be completed with luck rather than skills. And that's a horrible sight.
Overall, still none of the Epic games are hard.

Not going to comment your Bulletstorm rants because it's all opinions and I frankly don't care about those - Bulletstorm itself and Dead Space 2 are the only two games I'm looking forward this year.

I was and still am not interested in this game nor in any other console game Epic(-fail) produces, but the more I see of Bulletstorm the more I understand that this is Painkiller 2.0 for consoles with better graphics and effects, no story and with a tweaked gameplay mechanism that will stagnate after 1 hour of playing. Kinda like Stranglehold's kill-with-style which got repetitive and old after half an hour... (of course the mighty CliffyB found it awesome and praised it :shake:)
