Wonder why XP is excluded from recommended if it's not using DX10. Considering it'll perform better in DX9 games than Vista on lower end hardware (like a laptop) I can't see why.

BulletStorm won't have used the vast majority of the performance intensive techniques demonstrated in that map, because they won't run on console hardware, regardless of tweaking.
The lighting looks pretty static to me.
Required for multiplayer (I hope).

That's Dyanmic lighting. I kid - but that's not really demonstrating much in the way of dynamic lighting. That's the same level of 'dynamic lighting' people have been pulling since Quake 2; special cases for effects. The vast bulk of the game world is very staticly lit.
It seems they have adopted the apple marketing scheme. Take a feature that's old as dirt, advertise it like its new and revolutionary, make billions.
