I think more the flaming is directed not at BuF! more on the people that "live" on it.
So when i open a thread the first thing is see are oversized almost sigs! they have some really dumb stuff on it(theres also this guy who isnt doing anything else than changing his sig all 5 minutes). than i go trough the thread and i think OMG... this impression doent cover all bufer but the feeling is there! and there ARE people that are totaly wrong! twisted minded you call them...

Well at least we've progressed from mindless insult-throwing

'Changing his sig all 5 minutes'? That's most likely a random-sig script, which puts a different picture up everytime you load the page. I've got one. I get bored so I do another sig pic every now and then. No big

Either that or I've missed the point again.

We're not all bad, you know. The majority of BuF are really cool people, and I'm sure you NC peeps are as well, even if some of you need to chill out just a little.

Some of you people need to realise that BuF is the only thing keeping these forums alive. It's nice to know there's lots of gratitude. Maybe if some of you got off your toffee-nosed arses and tried hanging out at BuF for a bit, you'd realise that we're not a bunch of sick, immature fools.

well, when I was posting I gave jsut my impressions back that I got! there are a few peeps that are ok. but theres a bunch of... people who are... just wrong! i hope you read the thread than you've seen what i tried to give here. an impression!

let it take it this way. i wrte down my impressions. i had a ****ING month/week/day and next week will be the same way! accepted what you said. ok ok! but there are days when even a fart can make you upset!

I think he was working under the assumption that the admins wouldnt ban him for excercising his freedom of speech and wouldn't ban someone just for criticising them. Thats the way we do it in NC anyway, call us radical if you like but its true.

From what i saw of the recent posts, BuF has some very good people on it. But it does have a lot of lamers, too.

Being German you have an increased m0 potential (I experienced that countless times, and there is a reason why I don't visit german forums).
You mean SimplyCosmic. It's a radmon sig script written in perl. All sigs are a piece of art. They are really great.
Oh and I use a random sig too. Go sue me

About oversized sigs:
Yes some are. But mainly newbies, or INFers. We have rules about sig sizes

BuF has llamas:
Yes, but most come from other hosted forums lor are newbies. The people are really don't deserve flak are outstanding persons like hal. Yes hal has over 8000 posts. But not a single one was spam

Any of you been to the BuF forums? I've checked it out a few times, hoping it will get better, but it keeps getting worse! Theres some really pathetic/sad people that post there........BuF=where the slme live, ugh, i think im gonna be sick............

You, my friend, need to learn about what's called logical consistancy in your arguments.

"I'm not going to stereotype a group, but everyone in that group is such-n-such" is self-contradicting.

You started this thread out with what's obviously a massive troll against the main forum which supports this site with rants about how everyone who visits the main Beyond Unreal forums are "slime" and then go on about how you actually weren't, followed by fifth-grade attacks on how it's admins are "lame".

You may not believe this but in fact a good deal of the people in the main Beyond Unreal forums DO make it possible for the Nali City forums to exist. A good deal of BU forumers go out of their way to spend money on the sites of web retailers advertising here, bringing in the money which goes directly to the hosting costs for all of the forums here. I personally have spent over a $1000 already on hardware and software, which I already had a need for, but went out of my way to get it from someone who would give Beyond Unreal a cut of the money.

Had there been direct PayPal accounts, many BUFers would have contributed immediately.

So, please, don't contradict yourself with childish attacks on other forums and then claim the high moral road. You have your taste in forums, we have ours, let's try to act a little more civilized than the petty flamewars that are now rolling across the ForumPlanet sites.
