Brizz Won't Respond

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I'm looking at my wife, she's watching TV, and I'm having that same thought. She's also "decades old entertainment software" ...but much like Unreal, I value the legacy aspect of the entire relationship.

Besides I'm just too old to switch engines now. These legacy systems tolerate my slow reaction times and poor eyesight.

EDIT: In the spirit of the thread: Where's Brizz-o?

Terror is the gift that keeps on giving.. I had a nightmare once that every person I banned or messed with on this forum showed up at my house with picket signs warning the people in my town that I am an awful person. News crews arrived, my child was unable to return to school because his father was 'that monster on the news'... I woke up and laughed, regretting nothing.

Definitely not the Steam controller, I can tell you that. :D
Oh? Do you not care for it? I didn't like it at first but decided to use it exclusively for a week or so before I gave up on it. Now I prefer it. I definitely understand people who don't like it because I didn't at first. It's also hard because the Xbox controllers work well and are just fine controllers so you really have to want to switch anyway. That's a big hill to climb.

My biggest complaint especially with people who reviewed the controller is that most of them didn't even really try the controller much. They gave it a couple of hours and then threw it in the corner. IMO you have to recognize that it's not going to be easy to switch at first because it's changing a design paradigm that has been commonly used since at least 2001 (longer if you count dual shocks). That being said, I think every review should start out with "It's not going to be for everyone".
