Anyone playing on 360? I'm around level 17 now and can join some co-op games if you guys want the "And They'll Tell Two Friends" Achievement for playing with a developer.

:D

I've never been online with my 360 but this might make me do so.

This game is gonna be great, I just finished preloading. Just curious, can we play more than 4 players in multiplayer matches? Like, 16 players where it's just deathmatch or something.

I'll take you up on that offer once I get my box! Should be in a few days. I'll let you know. I have two other friends I'm gonna play with. I'm sure they're interested too. Or they can just snag it from me cause you said its viral. No matter.

The game is really good, but playing the same quests gets really repetitive, and this is what that will make the game boring after a very few months for me.

@TomWithTheWeather, I heard you guys had a generated terrain system in the 2007 build, which got drop since game testers got completely lost.

Is that true?

Not really. I assume you are refering to the rumor that our game once had auto-generated or random environments? The game environments have always been static and hand-built by level designers. The random environment myth has been floating around since some early interviews. I don't know if it was one of our guys that said it in a fit of excitement or if some game journalist that misheard something.

I still hear people say that Oblivion has randomly built or auto-generated dungeons. This isn't true either. Their dungeons and caves are all hand crafted. When you look at them in the TES tool set, you can find little level designer mistakes and tendencies if you know what to look for.

But yeah, auto-generated or procedurally generated environments, more often than not, aren't all they are cracked up to be. They often suffer from repetition or blandness and are almost always not nearly as cool as something hand-built by a decent designer. That's why when you see procedurally generated systems they tend to be weapons or items, or texture type stuff.

Was thinking about that: is it possible to have randomly generated quests that you can activate if you wish? (Like in Spore, except for the wishing part)
Like "Go kill x skags here" or "Mothrakk attack there" etc. To keep the game interesting for those who don't want to do the same quests over and over.

I want royalties :p xD

FFS!

Bought the 4-pack, 2 copies sent to Americans. Turns out they can play on Monday & I have to wait until Friday!?!
Because [& get this for a p*ss poor reason] 'If we unlock the digital version on Monday before the physical copies are available for sale it'll be pirated & no one will buy it in Europe'
As if no American has ever uploaded a game to a torrent site

How about they get the sodding discs to the stores beforehand & release globally or just suck it up & stop penalizing honest paying customers.
