I haven't managed Hyperius yet, but I've almost done him solo. The trick is to keep moving so that rockets don't hit you and to use non-elemental weapons as they bypass his shields.

He doesn't do the shockwave that often, so it shouldn't kill you.

Interestingly enough people have found ETech SMGs that had no element listing, so it does impact and explosive damage in each shot

Those SMGs are modded ones, they can't be obtained by "legit" methods.

So far, they are the only "non-legit" weapon mods which can bypass the game security check. (as you may know, every time you load a saved game, it scans your inventory for "non legit" weapons, and deletes them).

The good thing is that there are no "explosive resistant" enemies, so you always get the elemental bonus damage when using those weapons.

I don't think they're transferable - unless you mean you want the DLC code (which covers all the characters)?

Whenever someone with the SE starts up a new character, they can drop both the head and skin to someone else. Or someone could give me a code, that would work too.

Done him solo. Ended up doing it the 'proper' way by taking out his minions first. He's nasty once they're down though.

A note about the Halloween skins, if you activate them one after another(at least on PC), it won't load all 5 at the same time, you have to reload your save for the next one to show in your inventory

Yeah, it's goofy. Oh well. The skins don't look all that great except on Axton. Everyone else looks like some weird bumblebee.

Now I love free stuff.. but these skins suck. I was expecting an actual bumble bee costume or something.

DamType Crushed doesn't seem to count towards killing (either in this mission or at all).

Jumping on the guy in BFFs kills him but doesn't complete the mission. I don't know if it fixes itself by reloading or is from then on uncompletable. Everyone else was still waving irons until someone let off a nade.

I had a bug down to a smidgen of health and decided to jump it to death but since it only does one of two damage per damage I had to bounce on it for quite a while.. I was expecting some kind of Mario themed achievement but nada. :C
