I'd say, anyone who likes RPG and shooter needs to buy this and support their effort in being a mostly PC-oriented studio. You'll also get a lot from that 50 bucks.
No. NO."Go to X, bring X back to this spot. Go to Y, kill him, go back to this spot."
It's a problem because true geeks don't have friendsNot sure but then again, would you rather play L4D offline or online? The only good answer is online.
Unless you're WarezMan, this won't happen to be a problem to you.
It's a shame that an Unreal-engine game doesn't feature good AI.EDIT: On something really related, Randy (I think) said there would be more enemies as one co-op player joins the game. So bascially, I'm pretty damn sure the game doesn't have player replacement AI - you can go on your own.

I just got back from PAX day 1, and Borderlands was my biggest highlight of the show. I talked to Randy Pitchford for a couple minutes at their exhibit, and asked him about the possibilities of them allowing access to UnrealEd and UScript on the PC, and he said that they are seriously considering it atm, as a post-launch addition.... yay!
I only played it for a couple minutes, but it was ofcourse being shown on 360s, and I can't stand playing shooters on consoles, so I mostly just watched. The really fun part was the hour long presentation tonight, in one of the theaters. First, I heard estimates of anywhere from 500-800 people attended it (it was certainyl a large, full room), and Randy bought pizza for everyone there (musta been over 150 pizzas). Then they proceded to give a spectacular presentation, showing off a pretty damn funny first episode of a series of 'webisodes' that they made, featuring the little robot from the game, and finally played through some never before seen areas of the game, showing off all sorts of crazy fun looking stuff.
