Are you in post yet taz?

Yes, did about 3 quest the first nite over there. Quest are alot longer but not really harder when you have a few henchmen with ya.

Dev, I messed up my second charactor and selected the Second Profession by accident.. Wasn't paying attention to the question. She's now a Warrior/Monk.. That's not a bad combo and the only Profession I didn't try was Elem. before selecting. Oh Yea, there is a good level 2-3 challenge for ya over by the Falls, you know where the Pearl is just head towards them and to the right you will see a small creek. Towards the top of it is a pretty bad arse Skate.. Keep finding new parts I didn't see the first time through..

Might not be online til late tonite.. Have to go out to eat and shop.. Later..

Just got the game, haven't even installed it yet. I plan on making a warrior that we can use as a tank to directly engage enemies while everyone else supports or fires from range. It may not be that great of an idea, but it is more my playing style.:D

Sure it's a good idea. That way you attrack the foes keeping your healers safe.

If you need any help to get you going SS, you can catch me on the weekends or from 1 to 3 in the afternoon during the week.

The name is "Keen Steel". He is a Warrior-Ranger, currently level 7. I'll be focusing on sword skills and strength, with some marksman skills from the Ranger-class mixed in.

Steel, is now a Guild Member.. Me and DP have started off on our missions to the North.. Steel had a few good questions.. Where can you find good skill Merchants??

Answer: http://www.guildwiki.org/wiki/Trainer_Locations_Table

Note Non-Bold you get on Quest but might be able to get from Trainers.

In the Attribute Window.

You can bring this window up using the Menu at the lower left of the interface, or by hitting the keyboard shortcut, H. Below the character information, the first thing you'll notice is the "Attribute Points: [Number]" line. This shows you how many points you have that are unspent. In this example, it is 0, because all points have been used with this character. The next line, "Attribute Refunds: [Current Number/Max Number]" is also particularly important for the growth of your character. To understand why, we need to know what Refund points are.

Basically, an Attribute Refund point allows you to 'undo' a level that you have invested in one of your character's Attribute lines. It is easier explained through an example: Let's say you've decided to start a Warrior, and you use hammers. Somewhere down the line, you've decided that you don't really enjoy hammers, you want to use an axe. In most games, you would have to delete your character, and start all over again. Not so in Guild Wars. By using Attribute Refund points, you can unlearn everything you've invested into hammers, and respec those points into axes. You can never lose Attribute points once you've gained them, so by continuing to earn Attribute Refund points (gained with each 250 experience earned) your character becomes infinitely customizable.

Hope that helps..

I'll help ya out after school today dev. I get out at 2. I'll get you thru it when I get home.

Fire magic and ascalon bow of charrslaying does the job quite nicely :)

Did we not tear them up!! Man we made that look easy. That extra health Boost I gave Dev helped him and Criss Cross had a sweet Bow. Find me a Damn Fire Wand will ya!! I need fire or air that has a bigger punch. Mine is only 7-11 right now and air is 6-9. Oh yea my warrior is coming right along almost level 11. Swordsmanship and Axe..

I think I have a longbow of charrlsaying laying around somewhere. Its not quite as good as the ascalon bow but it does ok.

I don't have enough marksmanship to get the most out of a lot of the bows I have. I got like... 3 purple bows and 3 blue ones. Dunno what I'm gonna do with them yet. I wanna know where I can find upgraded strings and grips!

I just looked it up... the max a wand or staff can be is 11-22 damage. And a Wand would be better than a staff, because a wand is one-handed. That way you can still have soemthing in your left hand.

Me being a ranger and using a bow... I can never have anything in my left hand. Apparently there is a collector in the southern shiverpeaks that has a nice fire wand. When I get there I'll get it for you. I'm probably almost there.

Finally got some time in myself... about 1/2way to lvl 12, and have to get the main missions in Nolani.
While I'm out tomorrow, I'll look for a new headphone set, seeing as you fellas have been too distracted to read the guild chat.

Guild chat, huh, what?

I quit tonight 141 xp from lvl 12.

Hey TAZ, I was doing quite well on that mission until I decided to tackle about 12 Charr all at the same time. I realized I made a mistake and tried to pull back. I'm guessing you automatically die if the Prince gets killed because I had about 100 health and POOF! I'm suddenly dead. I think he gets a little too excited when he sees those beasties.

Woot got a nice bow. 13-21. Also got some nice stuff for TAZ or DP.

I used that Axe, works quite nicely.. DP, has a BIG Hammer that I gave him.. We was on the Mission to Excort the Prince to release the prisoners. Got all the way to the end before we died.. Steel the prince gets excited and runs ahead before you can recover all Health and Energy. I will be on today to finish that one and get to Nolan Acad. I had the wrong skills for that mission DP..

BTW: Dev, Yaks Bend is a pretty tough place. Picked a few short quest Like the ICE Artifact and Lost Stragglers and Clear the Road. Damn when you make the right and go over the hill where there are 30 Bandits. Thats a tough spot. Finished all 3 quest but died a few to many times trying.

Have to learn good skill combo's and what works best on the enemys on that quest. Air Attacks seem better for Armor Penatration...
