I almost got a complete armor for my Warrior/Mesmer. Still need shoes and helmet.

Question, I bought a Salvage Kit and made some Raw Materials. I even got a few Customized Weapons. Where do I find the Craftsman to make me some Armor?? I thought you could go into a City and press Alt to see all the NCP's (Merchants, Craftsman ect.). Doesn't work... What did I miss??
Any tips for us beginners. I know a Elementalist doesn't have much Armor but she should be able to get some made.. I did trade for Arm Armor..

Plus, I need someone to travel to other side of wall with me to complete a quest.

You have to trade for armor in Pre-Ascalon...
Mage (Necro, Elementalist, Monk and Mesmer) armor traders can usually be found in;
Fort Ranik (2 collectors: requires 3 spider legs and 3 unnatural seeds)
Catacombs (1 collector (gargoyle area): 5 gargoyle skulls)
Catacombs (1 collector (entrance): 3-5 skeletal limbs

Any tips for us beginners. I know a Elementalist doesn't have much Armor but she should be able to get some made.. I did trade for Arm Armor.

The biggest thing is to try and work your character to 8-10th level and build up as much gold as possible... it's really up to you, if you want to do this... but I suggest it... s**t gets expensive in Post-Ascalon really quick.

You also want to save dyes... in Post they go for big money.

The best way to get money rolling in Pre is to pick up everything you can, and sell enough to get an ID kit... you'll usually get more money for the blue stuff than the normal stuff.

I'm sure you could prolly catch Dev or Boney before I catch up to you... but if you don't, I'll likely be on tomorrow evening sometime.

Got all the Armor and I think all Quest are done. Almost at Level 8. I can been althrough the Catacombs. I have 3 dyes.. Wish I would have known about ID Kit. I sold off Unknown weapons and crap without ID.

Devourer eggs are useless in Post-Ascalon afaik.
Keep your raw materials... you'll need them for armor.
Just about everything you get can be salvaged into base materials... you can even salvage unnatural seeds into plant fibers.
I don't know if you can use plant fibers for anything, tho.

If you need fur squares for armor don't buy them... you'll easily spend a plat or more... do some Charr quests and save up Charr hides which you can trade in for fur squares in Post Ascalon city.

I'm working on a Trapper/Smiter (SEVYN) in pre right now (just hit lvl 4) which should be useful to you fellas in the Ascalon quests... so don't get too far ahead of me.
