I played with "Player" now, he had a black name, but he said he wasn't from buf anyway. We messed around doing funny stuff though.

Yea, I was there too. Though I get bored of RGB very quickly, what's with having only one map being played, and especially one that has visuals like that... Where are all the ParticleSalamanders at? :p

And so people still don't wanna use the maps I modded? I thought they were small enough even if you just wanna duel. RGB should be replaced. Hmm maybe that's another mapping idea for me... Make a map with stock map elements with the aim of replacing RGB.

Ideas? Like which areas of the stock maps are best for dueling? Esp if it's balanced for all classes.

Note I'm not back yet (no gaming computer ATM) but I like to plan stuff anyway :p

Has anyone found this bug? so last night there was 4 of us in game (me, Player, Skunk, and Arctic) and i was on Players team. I was in raptor, i boosted then got out of it right away and he got gutblowned. I have an arti, i then go overtop of his artifact and i am now carrying 2 artifacts. I never knew you could have 2 artifacts.....i cap 1, the game does not end, so i go over the node again and it's ended. I was on Sunset Beach. Anyone knew that bug existed?

I might play this again, considering that it's part of the Unreal Anthology package. Can't remember what I did with the standalone Unreal 2 game, tho. Might give it a go...not gonna say that this was the best game of the Unreal franchise, but...it may be worth replaying maybe once or twice more, we'll see.

Unreal 2 sucks balls. The MP was the ONLY good thing about it.

I disagree, SP is very awesomely made as well, at least mood-wise. Not to mention all the engine enhancements. XMP is just a lite version of UT2004, albeit with the awesomeness of ParticleSalamanders.

Unreal 2 incorporated a new particle system designed by Legend which, despite its quirks, was very powerful. The most commonly-used particle generator type in this suite was the ParticleSalamander, which is similar to an the Emitters in the later UEngine games. Most people just refer to the U2 particle system as ParticleSalamanders though.

XMP is just a lite version of UT2004, albeit with the awesomeness of ParticleSalamanders.
Actually I'm pretty sure that XMP is the same code drop as 2k3.

Well, if you even wanted U2 for MP, you were probably better with UT2kx, most likely. However, I have a hunch that SP may be good for maybe one more replay, but that may do it. At least the storyline isn't AS bad as {cough}Deus Ex: Invisible War{/cough}.
