Yes, please.
Yeah, I could scarcely stand COD4. It feels like in the translation to Modern Combat, in order to create assault rifles, instead of taking the semi-auto rifles from COD2 and reducing the recoil/damage to create an intermediate weapon...they essentially just took the SMG's from COD2 and reskinned them as modern rifles. The result is everything has such low recoil and spray/pray-friendly it feels like you're shooting a super soaker, not an assault rifle. The G3 is literally just a standard COD4 AR with slightly more damage and semi-only. The M14 has markedly more recoil than all the other rifles - relatively speaking, but since they're basically just SMG's, the M14 basically has the same recoil that the base 5.56mm rifles should have had in the first place.

Then for COD5, instead of going back to the COD2 representation of things, which wasn't quite as bad, they basically took all the weapons from COD4 and reskinned them as 40's weapons. Consequently, everyone goes around spraying and praying M1919A4's and MG42's from the shoulder while running 30mph...and the SVT40 and G43's feel like airsoft guns.

Hahaha, oh yeah... also since they wanted to bring the red dot sights from COD4 into COD5, but there were no reflex sights in the 1940's, IW/Treyarch invented their own fantasy aiming device called an "aperture sight" which is just a COD4 reflex sight but with a black crosshair painted on the lense instead of a red dot.
