Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Anyway, what does that -nohomedir actually do? Prevent it from calling home to Gamespy?

If you have partitions and don't want to install to the default subdirectory, then you can install it on the D: drive like I have it. That's where I have all my games in case the C: windows partition wigs out and I have to reinstall windows, then I won't lose everything.
-nohomedir puts everything that would go into
C:\users\username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3
into the installation dir instead. For example
D:\Games\UT3
C:\users\username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3
