The deals today are junk, mostly. Machinarium is $5 if you don't have it and want it, Dawn of War 2 is $13.69 if you like strategy games. I think everything else has been cheaper in previous sales and is likely to be cheaper again in the winter sale in a week or two.

New day, new deals on Steam...

SupCom 2 is on sale for $3.75. If you don't have it, there is no reason to avoid buying it now.

Left 4 Dead 2 is $5. Same. If you don't have it, no reason to wait.

Galcon Fusion is $2.50. It's a fun little game.

Lara Croft is a fantastic game if you have someone to play with, especially over voice.

Don't judge it as a 'tomb raider' game. It's more of a coop puzzle diablo with some genuinely engaging puzzles, decent length for a DLC game, and good replay incentive.

Pretty basic review that I don't find much to disagree with, the only thing is how most of the footage is from singleplayer. And yes, the PC version has online play now.

Yes, still lots.

Also, the indie pack today is a steal. Bit Trip alone is worth the price.

More sales...

The indie pack is once again worth it for Shatter alone. The other games are also decent.

Splinter Cell is an okay deal if you don't mind UPlay.

Irony of all ironies... Bit Trip is the same price as the whole indie pack from yesterday.

The Ball is only $9.99. WAY worth it for that price.

World of Goo is $2.50. Pick it up if you haven't already.

The Orange Box is $7.50. Pretty good deal if you don't already have it.

I'm thinking some of the sale items are geared toward Mac gamers, which might explain why this sale has been such a dumper. I hope the Winter Sale turns out better.

Yeah, if you don't own all the Orange Box games, you'd be nuts to pass it up.

Bought the Indie Puzzle Pack - puzzle dimension, cogs, and tidalis all look like pretty good puzzlers. I already own shatter, which is really solid and droplitz which I'm not really into.
