OOoo thanks for the tip!

Also, the Oddbox is in standard def because they're not done with the hi-def version yet. That's supposed to hit next year on the consoles.

Defense Grid is $2 today. Must buy if you haven't already.

Burnout Paradise is $5. Get it.

Puzzle Quest and Defense Grid for me today.

At this rate my Steam wishlist will be down to like 30 games.

Probably worth it now that they've recommitted to patching it and releasing the remaining DLC early next year. I'm holding off until I actually play through the first one.

Bought Puzzle Quest $1.50, The Witcher: EE $5.00, and Tomb Raider: Guardians of Light $3.74 (bonus discount for already owning a TR game on Steam). Not a bad haul for $10.00.

I second the plug for Defense Grid. It's $2.00 and according to Steam I spent 173 hours with it and it's still fun for me to play.

Is Bioshock 2 even remotely worth it?
Despite all the bulls***, the first one wasn't too bad
For $10 you get a reasonably entertaining FPS with visuals on par with the first. Plus at least one mind-blowingly cool gameplay twist that lasts for one level.

Eh, maybe. Don't care for the MP aspect(which is probably long dead anyway), tho my main worry is mouse control.
Bioshock 1 was just about horrible in that regards

Hmm, Sam & Max fans should hit up the Telltale Games pack: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6928/
10 Sam & Max games/episodes and PokerNight at the Inventory for $30

Again, the Rockstar pack is still for $40
GTA 1/2/3/4/Liberty City/San Andreas/Vice City + Bully + Max Payne 1/2 + Manhunt and Midnight Club 2 http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4247/

Most Indie games half off or so(some -33%, others -75%) http://store.steampowered.com/genre/Indie/

It might be hard sitting down with 1 with the sole intention of burning through it. I found it to be a bit of a grind and only stuck with it because I didn't have much else to play at the time.
My friend loved it though and got all of the achievements and all that stuff, so it's obviously subjective.

2 is a lot better than 1, though 1 can be bearable if you can skip most of the completionist stuff like collecting flags.
2 has better combat controls, but 1 is overall a more entertaining game (due to its strict focus on assassination and lack of so much cruft they added to AC2. I don't want to buy crap and repair it all the time.

To the originator of that topic, don't buy anything that is not on a daily deal until Jan 2.
