does anyone still care about the x86 line? intel will soon release the itanium, which is vastly superior to any 32-bit pentuim and much better than amd's 64-bit chip.
also, hz, khz, mhz, ghz, etc.. are not true indicators of a processor's speed. they just measure the clock speed of the processor. for example, 233mhz processor has 233,000,000 clock ticks in one second. what actually matters is how much is processed in between these clock ticks. that is why athlons are better than celerons which are better than cyrixes, etc...
