If you like Michael Bay movies you're an idiot. Just sayin...

Now now... I actually like the Bad Boys series a lot. They're really fun and extremely offensive.

And besides explosions, Michael Bay does have some really good directing skill. The rotating camera in this scene is particularly impressive.

Yeah, just cause his stories or whatever aren't the best, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy some mindless action fun, imo he's pretty good at action scenes.

Well, I'm pretty sure there were a lot of us that remember the original TMNT movie series from about 20 years ago, maybe a few years longer than that. We all know that those were...mmm, okay, but those consistently got worse after every sequel, but with this reboot, I just don't see how well this would work. I mean, I respect Mr. Bay for giving it a try, but I just don't see how this would be any better than the original TMNT movies from the early '90s.

As it's a Michael Bay movie it'll easily break even at least. Throw in a few explosions here and there and you've got yourself a massive blockbuster on your hands.

No doubt there'll be a long lineup of toys to go along with it.

Why do they call TMNT "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" in the UK?

Censorship basically. "Ninja" were considered synonymous with violence and so not something you should aim at kids.
No one cares anymore though so you can throw as many murderous, violent, assassin types at the young with abandon.

If you guys cannot see why this is a bad idea then I cannot explain it to you.
That's because you're a close-minded moron...

Actually I take that back, you're probably right.
