Amazing, you'd think a UT3 hater would be begging Epic to NOT make another UT.

It would be like watching a movie. The movie's awesome, and when the sequel comes out, you like it, although you think it's not as good as the first movie. Then the third movie comes out and you despise it. You tell some people that "OMG, 'Some Movie 3' was horrible compared to 'Some Movie 1,' I'm never watching it again" and then tell them to call you when "Some Movie 4" comes out. Logic what.

In the hopes that it gets good again. No long time UTer wants the series to end with UT3.

Also the fact that Epics record (in most opinions) is UT99=good, UT2k3=bad, UT2k4=good, UT3=bad. The worst part is that if they had released waited and released 2k4 and they had released UT3 in it's current form, they would have nothing but good UT's.

Fun can be had playing almost any game with friends. When I was a kid, we would run around my field and throw old horse manure at each other, we had fun, but it was pretty fricken stupid.

I don't praise it as much as I do Unreal 1. And don't get me started on the amount of people on this board who hate UT3 and are giving high-praise to UT2k4 and UT99 instead. Just because I like a game you don't doesn't mean you have to be so harsh in your tone when talking to me.

Also, I hadn't expected FragBU to be up this quickly :O. I'll be there.

EDIT: I was there, and I got murdered. I DID have fun though, but it got boring after a while.

Also, when you get the actual FragBU server up, please, PLEASE include the Blossom mutator. It's a small download, so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

Looks like you're almost on the same boat as me (then I don't know your opinion about UT2k4, I don't want to talk about that game ).
The only reason I have UT1 installed it's for the Oldskool/Single Player stuff, and also for playing DM matches with that UT99 CBP mutator which makes the gameplay more similar to UT3, not to mention more fun than ever (moreso than UT3 Deathmatch gametype which I always thought to be the best version in the series).

Well, I have Unreal Anthology package installed on my Win XP hard drive, and a standalone version of UT2004 and UT3 installed on my Win 7 x64 hard drive, and have no problems with either package. Anytime I want to do old school UT, I come to an old school OS to frag people on. If you want cutting edge UT2004 or UT3 knockouts, I'll switch over at the pre-boot screen. It's that simple.

The result is a permanent DemoGuy. This glitch was actually my fault, not the game's, and with no known way to fix it, I just deleted the old profile and made a new one.
