Hey NRG, you need to hit us up. :)
Zero Sleep and I've been playing some Domination.

Will do. I lost most of my friends and groups in Steam though. :gonk: Need another invite to BuF.

So am I the only one who thinks Spec Ops missions are fun? Anyone else out there that wants to play some with me? :(

NRG, what's your SteamID, profile or whatever?

They're lots of fun! I'm running through them on 360 though cause that's what my friends have.

I hate juggernauts on veteran.

Here, I added steam tags to my signature. :)

I'll play special ops too. Some of them are kind of annoying, but others are a blast.

Hey guys,

Did anyone here have problems, or heard about people having problems having their PC crashing whilst playing some MW2? I started a thread about it in the Hardware section, but it seems to me now that the problem might be MW2 itself as I've played Borderlands for a good 3 hours straight no problem.

So I was curious, I downloaded the latest drivers, and it STILL crashed.

You know I would post it in their official forum, the first thing you know someone will arrive in "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BUYING THE GAME FAG!"

Fun fact.

The game itself says that I've played the game for 1d 8h 53m. Which is nearly 34 hours if you do the maths. Steam tells me I've played 44.1 hours in the past 2 weeks. So this leaves me with the conclusion that I've spent over 10 hours in the matchmaking/UI's. And I sure swear that I haven't left the game standing still as I got away.

Woooo. D:

It's faster if you ask someone to send you a dvd of their backed up files.

What's your download speed?

Finished single player in 4h25min, sure it was all over the place but I still liked it even if there are a ton of holes that will hopefully be filled by MW3. I liked CoD4's better though. If you didn't like the MP for the previous CoD games or don't plan on spending much time in MP don't get this one, it's more about the MP than it is the SP even though the Spec Ops missions do redeem the SP area somewhat.

Those were partly to make the the room easier to clear and I thought they were well placed. Take another look at where they were in game and be enlightened. You are allowed to bitch about it only if you can use slowmo and in the entire game.

Learn to not use silenced weapons when you are expecting a regular sounding weapon. That or your sound setup is absolute garbage. The weapons sounded awesome to me :3

Ah no. The LMGs squeal more than boom, the m4 is particularly egregious with its pappity pap pap sound, and the PP2000. Wow. That thing actually clicks. Its pin hitting its cartridges is louder than the concussive sound.

Whut...that's 4 times faster than my connection to newsgroups, and I had the game in 2 or 3 hours.

Are you sure you don't mean kB?

By air pigeon none the less.

If it worked in South Africa, it may work to Killer ;)

Bird Beats Broadband! Pigeon Flies Faster Than South African DSL
By Joanna Stern on September 10, 2009 at 11:33 PM
South Africa’s broadband has got to be feeling pretty ill-equipped today considering a real, wing-flapping pigeon beat its transfer speeds. No really, a company found out that sending a bird with a 4GB USB drive was faster than uploading.

That has got to hurt for Telkom, one of South Africa’s main ADSL providers, but damn is Winston the pigeon feeling like the man today. He is telling all the other pigeons, how it took him two hours to carry the strapped-to-his-back flash drive 100 kilometres to the company’s second office in Durban. In the same time the broadband service had only sent 4% of the data. You do the math but that is pretty damn slow upload speeds. No wonder the guys at Unlimited IT first joked that a bird could send files faster.

This is just the kind of story I want to read to children at night (I’m thinking the picture book is called “Winston and the Broadband”). Let’s hope South Africa gets those fibre optic lines installed soon or else a crap load of bird seed.

That's your broadband speed. Not the speed rate per second when downloading/uploading.
I mean, 36 weeks on that when I get something like this & can download the game in 6-8 hours @ 512KB/s?

Smells of BS. Don't torrent the game - might be faster.
