Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It's a reboot, not an origin story. The original 'origin story' started in the Last Revelation (she was 16 at the beginning of the game, and also coincidentally had the most ridiculous tits of the entire series)

Ok slight misunderstanding.. the IGN review calls it an origin story and a reboot. Be interesting regardless to see what users think and if the reviews aren't simply just paid off again.
EDIT: Oh and for those who are skeptical about not being able to raid any tombs.. here be this from gamespot

The tombs amount to one off puzzles, after the actual game, from what I gather. They are supposed to be quite good.

Less than two hours until it's unlocked on Steam!
The "top secret" DX11 feature that they've been advertising turns out to be TressFX which is a way to render more realistic hair. Individual strands that blow in the wind and react to movement. It also looks fresh out of the salon despite the rest of her body being filthy.
The videos make it seem a bit too sensitive in terms of physics. It bounces around way too much. Hopefully there's some config values to add more weight to it. At any rate, it's a great start to having more realistic hair in games.
The screenshots are incredible though. :tup:

Played a half hour or so. Unfortunately I gotta go to bed for work tomorrow.

Graphics are ridiculous and the TressFX actually impresses me a lot. Makes Lara seem so real. The performance hit is pretty huge though, probably takes off 15-20 fps at least. Gotta lower some settings to normal to maintain 40's with a GTX 680 @ 2560x1600. But I'm leaving it on because it looks so damn good.

Yep, I'm playing it, it's awesome. That is all. Other than a couple of bugs it's been very enjoyable so far.
BTW if you have a NVIDIA card and are playing on everyting at max, turn off tesselation. With tesselation on, the game crashed about every 10 minutes for me.
Edit: I see it just got patched. Maybe it works with it on now. I will have to try that later.

The game is a mess for nvidia owners. Weird psychedelic colors, tressfx halving your fps while looking pretty poopy, crashing. And apparently it was because Nvidia weren't given a copy of the games code till close to release. I smell something fishy and it wasn't the fish I had for supper either.

Didn't watch the video (just in case there are spoilers), but yeah, there are some issues.
TressFX is a huge performance hit whether you have Nvidia or AMD. Perhaps more so with Nvidia, but there are plenty of AMD users complaining about 20+ fps hits with TressFX enabled. I just think it's an unoptimized and highly beta technology. That being said, a high horsepower card such as the GTX 680 handles it just fine.
The issue I get is that her hair disappears sometimes leaving her with this crew cut that makes her look total lesbo. It typically happens over complex scenes with a big waterfall in the background.
Driver issues aside, the PC dev team did a great job porting this over. They definitely catered to us with the eye candy improvements.

I believe that scene is at the beginning of the game? The dude that everyone thought was raping her and therefore the term "Rape Raider" came about.
Also Total Biscuit apparently has a 680 and it still halves his framerate.. it is unoptimized technology all across the board.
