Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
You don't know anything about censorship and you wouldn't know a real nazi if one bit you in the nether regions. Your so-called "fight against censorship" is a joke and has no real meaning or purpose. If you think displaying an image of a stretched out anus is your right, go to the supermarket tomorrow, stand in aisle three, and display yours for all the nice people to see. You'll find that you'll be censored pretty quickly.

Any idea how these started? It's by those who deliberately abused the links. The links wouldn't be censored if it's not posted all over the forum in the first place. Common sense tells tou this would attract complaints or even raise in a flame war, yet? ignorance
It's the moderators fault? Stop finding a scapegoat and put yourself in their shoes. How will you react if there's complaints, and if the admins ask you to remove a particular post, you can argue against it but in the end you HAVE to do your job. I've seem the blame shifted from Zund to Dark because they are the ones most frequently around, and most frequently resort interventions, which is actually a bare minimum. They are trying to save your ass so you won't get banned and this is what they get?

You're really loosing it if you're dissing an Inf team member for being ignorant. How ignorant can someone be and still create something as great as Infiltration?
It's pretty simple, and it would have been done over at PU as well as here:
1) Young kids come to these forums. Kids that are like 8-11 years-old. The content on these forums can't be such that it would be inappropriate for an 8 year-old. Guess who gets sued by some angry parent if the content remains? I do. Trust me, I'm not going down that road.
2) Posting on these forums is a privilege, not a right. You post inappropriate material, you can get banned. It has nothing to do with Proph, Yellow5, Zund, or anyone else other than the person posting the inappropriate material.
3) Free speech is not free at all, not in America, not anywhere else. It never was. There is always the 'verboten'. Content, especially links and pics that are inappropriate, will be removed, and the poster notified. If the **** continues, the poster will be banned. That's all there is to it. Examples of inappropriate content are pornography and warez.
These forums are, at their best, great. People can post about a myriad of things, have relatively open discussions about most anything, not necessarily related to UT or Infiltration or gaming. We encourage that sort of discussion. I'm paying to host these forums out of my own pocket, just to give you guys the opportunity to do that on our vBulletin software. All the admin team here expects in return is the application of some common sense by the poster. I don't think that's too much to ask.

That oughtta settle things, but it probably won't. Too many people here are stubborn asses who won't listen to reason.
Is it really necessary to ban someone for posting a link to possibly offensive content?

All is a matter of respect of the others in public forums.
These links can provoke problems to newbies that open them. Once you know the people who post these links, you can guess you will never open it. If the link comes with the warning, it is ok for me, the guy has been advised. Too bad for him if he opens it.
Some ppl have been abusing some links and even hiding them, this show a lack of respect for others members of the forum.
Now, this things is getting an amazing size. It has just became human, errr, I mean stupid!
These links can provoke problems to newbies that open them. Once you know the people who post these links, you can guess you will never open it. If the link comes with the warning, it is ok for me, the guy has been advised. Too bad for him if he opens it.

Surmabteilung, exactly. Though there are important differences between SA and SS and they shouldn't be thrown together. That's why I added "brown shirts" to make that one clear.
Whatever, it's the same old argument I already brought in the old BMA thread, but just got some "freedom of speech" answer.
To the SA: They were unarmed young men, went in uniformed groups through the cities and to events to build some kind of authority by starting more or less harmless ****, organized by their leaders. (All that even long before Hitler got into power)
Later they also put and personally guarded the "Don't buy at Jews!" - signs in front of Jewish shops.
In short: those nice boys just defended their freedom of speech BMA style

I personally dislike Mojo. He should drop his selfrighteousness and see that he's just as much a hypocrite as the next guy. He has much more in common with fascists than he likes to admits: He believes in his own superiority and the right of the stronger one (That is pretty much the base ideology of fascism) and he uses his rhetorical skills to be a first class demagogue and form an unofficial authority with the BMA.
Me, I am against locking or even deleting of threads against the "censorship" of the ****** link, I don't like the soon to come ranking system, and I don't like that Mojo was banned and I really dislike the threats against those who spread Mojo's word here.
However I accept that this message board is private property. I can voice my opinion in a civil way, and that was it.
Furthermore I believe that moderators with moderator powers are a lot more useful than a lynch mob on a discussion board. If some lamer writes a hundred times the same thread containing not more than something like "i f<b></b>uck u in da ass!!!!" I am more than glad when a moderator deletes 99 of them and I won't shed a tear if he also deleted the last one.
