The Traveler - 2/10
Two words: Val Kilmer.
For some reason I was hoping he would be starring in a great movie again. I think all hope is lost. The movie begins really great - when he enters the police station and says he first few words you feel like "Yes, this is going to get awesome!" - just to be disappointed by some mystery crap story. Why oh why, Val?

Great film. A lot of fun and a dynamite cast who know how to pull the story off. Definitely worth watching. A bit of a surprise; really good.

Die Hard-7/10

I never get tired of seeing this film. Always a lot of fun.

The Town-9/10

Whether based on fact or not this is, in my opinion, one of the great cops and robbers films. It's right up there with films like Heat, Point Break and Inside Man when it comes to getting inside the minds of career criminals who specialise in heists.

Really captivating storytelling. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Primer - 5/10 A very low budget time travelling movie (around $7000) that's been around for a while.
Film was irritating in the beginning but picks up halfway through when things finally start to get interesting.
Unfortunately, by that time, you're either wondering around your house with it as background filler or switched it off altogether.
People with low attention spans will find it terminal.

Let Me In - 7/10 The American take on the superb Swedish version that thankfully wasn't butchered beyond recognition to cater for the US market.
In fact, it's almost identical in every way to the original.

Again...............

Ghost Rider-7/10

It's a shame this flick wasn't made ten years ago. It would have been Bruce Campbell instead of Nicholas Cage. I've seen it a couple of times; Cage is fine and Johnny Blaze is a lot of fun.

Boewulf-7.5/10

A film from back in the days when 3D was still a novelty and hadn't become to visuals in the 21st century what Dolby surround sound was to audio in the 20th century.

I've seen this film a couple of times and sometimes it comes across as a bit cheesy.

That being said it's still pretty captivating and the visuals look as good on the 2D small screen as they did on big screen 3D.

The voice acting in this flick is excellent.

The wild and wonderful whites of west virginia. 8/10

the documentary is awesome, if because the subjects are interesting, even though they are worthless and probably should be eradicated for the good of mankind.
