Domicile Conjugal. The fourth installment of the Antoine Doinel-series. He has finally settled down, or so it seems, until he changes jobs - and subsequently women - yet again. It's more of the same, but it still is very funny even while portraying the marriage of Antoine and Christine, excellently played by Jean-Pierre Léaud and Claude Jade, going to pieces in scenes often letting through glimpses of the underlying regret in both.

Sweetgrass. An excellent documentary and modern Western. The beginning is clearly showing the ending of an era. The film, giving a really believable insight into the life of traditional sheep farming, features lots of swearing, uncertainty, simply awesome panoramic views of the mountains and the gruel reality of animal farming.

Marin Blue. The "inbetween spaces" of vacancy have served as an inspiration for this movie, and in the photography of these it excels. The lives of the two main characters are similarly - or only seemingly? - vacant and while the story unfolds, more questions arise without, for the most part, being answered. While not being overly original, it manages not to be another young adult indie movie. It does, however, feature a great soundtrack.

The Visitor. Painting the picture of an elderly and cynic America, helpless when being put up against a young orient that doesn't play by its rules. America adapts, a little too quickly, and finds rejuvenation in the new friend. A positive and encouraging outlook on the state of humanity in the world, and a harsh case against the state of bureaucracy and politics in America. To quote from the movie: "It's just like Syria."
