New Epic Game In The Works

I have a feeling with the news that Epic sold Gears of War to Microsoft that Epic isn't really planning any console releases for now.

Just utopically throwing out an idea i would like to see somehow happening:

Sell UT Franchise to Cliffy, who is eager to "get back to the roots with a hardcore FPS arena shooter blabla" and let him do his things with that for now if you don't plan anything for ut at all anymore.
Profit for both (Epicgames +Fanbase)???
