just got done playing on the Roost, Arkive was there.
Anyhow, Trunks{GF} pops in and we are playing on Hydro. Arkive is comboing me all to hell , and then Trunks snatches our flag. I am at the bridges, so I x-loc up into the tower and I snipe at him while a teammate pounds him from behind him. {APAIROF}Titties to be exact... anyhow, after he gets killed, I am all of a sudden a newbie faggot cause I was sniping and not "fighting like a man"...

*sigh*

Anyhow, from then on out, he is bitching about every little thing under the sun.. so I left...

I always thought {GF} was a respectable clan ?!

I don't think there are any other GF like him. He's been in something like a dozen clans. Anyways, if he whines about sniping, just snipe him more. That's what I did .

Al's right...it was a prtty sad scene. Basically his philosphy was that he's speaking his mind, and if you don't like it, you can leave. He settled down after a while though. I've played with a few other GF's and they were all good sports with awesome skills. Kind of sad to have such a poor reflection on a quality clan because one guy is shooting his mouth off.

Well, what's sad, is that I wasn't the one who killed him. Lunchblaze did... I was distracting him while LB was knocking him around. I call that teamwork

I had a run-in with him on TheRoost one night too, Al. Seems he and I got into a little 1v1 fight and I ended up killing him with my sniper rifle, whereupon I was told how much of a newbie I was, how I moved bad and my aim was poor. It never ended until he left a few maps later.

I just chalked it up to someone being bitter about losing a firefight and made a few jokes at his expense on my way to dying constantly by Cookie and DragonAsh.

Isn't Harry Ballz on GF? A few weeks ago I was on his team on the Roost and he kept complaining about being stuck with a sucky team. He is really good, and it was basically him and regular guys like me on our team. When I am on a team with |C| guys, they are so nice about it. I will apologize for not being able to support the flag carrier, or for letting the bad guys steal our flag, or for comboing my teammates into the lava, or for just sucking in general, and they will always say, "Its cool Boom, you are doing real good!" (liars )

This is what I wrote in another thread about what happened with Ballz.

Speaking of sportsmanship. I did have a problem on your server last night. Harry Ballz from goodfellas made me feel bad for sucking so bad. He was on the opposite team for most games and yelling at his teammates "Just get out of my f-cking way already". He was beating me up pretty good and I was having a great time. I love playing against hyperskilled players, I learn more that way. Finally, the server threw me on his team on a brand new map. I was totally lost, but having fun. Out of nowhere, Ballz types "Well there is no point in this if my loser teammates are only interested in getting frags." Then he jumps out. There were only a few people on the server at that point, so I took it personally. I know I am not very skilled (yet), but I am very good at taking directions and TRYING to be a good teammate. If he wanted me to play D, or go O, or back him up, he only had to ask and I would have done my best. He is in a top 5 clan, you would think he would want to represent them well, but he came off like a whiney b1tch. Maybe he was just born with those skills, but I'm having to work hard to develop mine. At least he could have given me a chance to explain and apologize. Actually, I was typing "sorry" as he left.

I mean, its not like I want to suck! Believe me. I wish I could be more helpful to my team. You think it feels good when I get fragged while trying to support my carrier, then read a few seconds later "The flag was returned"? Or do you think it feels good to see my flag go bye bye? I think I remember Harry posting here, and thinking he was a pretty good guy. He probably is a really good guy, but maybe when you get to be that skilled, you forget how hard it is when you don't have the skills. I'm trying, I promise.

i haven't encountered him very much (maybe a few times in irc and a game or two) but it usually involved him saying alot of bad words and stuff if i remember correctly.
