i was wondering if it was possible to zone off a zomplex area without having only one transparent/translucent "portal"... okay, to explain it a little better, a diagram of a river-type deal:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\
(sorry fer the sh!tty ansi drawing, but i'm at my gf's place and don't have any screenies handy... will post them later, for the sake of clarity)...
anyways, "~" represents the waterline, "_" represents the riverbed, and the "\" represents the waterfall thingie...
so here's my problem:
the only way i've been able to define the water as a waterzone is if i block of the waterfall area with a solid, non-transparent additive...
a second zone portal won't work, a masked sheet won't work, a transparent sheet won't work, even an invisible collision hull won't work... i tried putting a solid there and have it set to "fake background" but that looks goofy... i'm all out of ideas...
anyone know of a way around this? or will i have to nix the waterfall?
thanks in advance...
