Well, it would appear that Pacman is no better than a hate group...he apparently hates Americans with no real reason, he just laces his sentences with vulgarity and that, I suppose, makes his opinions valid. Now, perhaps I(maybe we) would understand a bit more if he provided a logical reason or two, maybe Saddam and he are really GOOD buddies and he is standing by his man, I don't know. Until I see a logical reason for his appparent hatred, I shall just lump him in with all the other hate groups who have no real reason to hate blacks, jews, smurfs, whatever...and even whith a "valid" reason, why the generalization? We can't ALL be bad, can we?

Calm down damnit, joking about other countries has been a loved joke and releaf for hundreds of years, if not thousands, and it is just that, joking.

Ouer forfathers did it as we do today, its that simple.

Yes, hating America is a world wide sport, and it is so because of a few dumbasses who thinks they saved the world on their own during WW-II, thats how it started AFIK.

Actualy, WW-II has left many scares in ouer world, most europeean countries still hate the Germans like the plague, the eastblok countries still hate Russia, and Itali is still hold out in the could, so jokes are bound to start.

Now Denmark has only been spared cus its so small a country, and most people cant even place it on the map, still, we ARE known as the bacon capital of the world a few places

Its jokes born out of tragic events, and thats how we humans survive, with humor.
U can bet youre last paycheck that the people in the nazi consentration camps had humor, they spend all the time thay could making fun of the nazi's behind their backs, its how we handle things, plain and easy.

Now relax and take it as the joke it is, laugh a little at youreselves, its healthy.

Amongst friends there is an allowable degree of "giving shit" and I'd say this forum is "amongt friends" so just lighten up (it's not like I said the best red wines in the world come out of California or something like that

But Pac, I don't quite understand your "Hatred" for america.

Sure, there are a lot of things I don't like about mainstream culture and some other things, But Seriosly dood, Your taking a few americans you have met, and stereotyped the whole country.

And not Every American says "About" like "Aboot".
Thats called a northern accent. I remember you said thats one thing you hate about america.

Another thing you told me was that we always brag about our amry...Okay. I don't believe me, or anybody here has said that the US could kick your ass.

I haven't met people that think that way. Sure, they are out there, but it is damn ignorant to hate a whole country for stupid little shit like that. Make sense?

How smart would your canadian friends think I was, If i told them " I HATE CANADA".
What if they asked me why I hated canada, and I told them,

i don't make generalizations about other contries. i don't know enough about them to do it. however i will make generalizations about people from neighboring counties and states. since to me that's almost like another country.

but do you know how stupid it would be for saddam to attack the us with nuclear weapons. not because of what would happen to him but what would happen to everyone else. as far as i'm aware a simple idea known as mutualy assured destruction still exists. meaning saddam launches a nuke, then we see it and launch several nuckes his way then russia sees our nukes and launches several our way then we see those and respond and before you no it everybodies dead. not just the us, russia, irag but everybody in the world would be effected by that. about any contry with ballistic missles would be launching them at every other country with missles and the countries without missles would be wiped out by the resulting fallout. not to mention the resulting nuclear winter and destruction of the enviroment.

pacman's just mad cause we have him surrounded.

That's a bit stereotypical yourself. Not every Northerner speaks with a Northern accent (just like not every Minnesotan stretches all their O's and says "'dat 'der" and "you betcha'"). The only people I've heard talk like that are either 80+ years old or on TV (or both). I have the feeling that accents are becoming less and less prominant all over the world (or at least in developed nations) because of television. We develop accents by listening to the people arround us and picking up on all their speach paterns. With the invention of television, we can hear people from all around the world every day, making it harder to pick up a region-specific accent. Also, more and more people are travelling these days, meaning that not everyone in a specific area is neccessarily from that area. I've grown up with people from all over the U.S., and quite a few from other countries all together.

Well, that's funny, because in every one of your previous replies, you've been going on and on about how, if Saddam every gets nuclear weapons, the U.S. will get their ass kicked. My point is that Saddam already has the means to attack the United States with weapons equal to or surpassing the destructive potential of nuclear weapons. Instead, he spends his days in fortified bunkers surrounded by women and children, while occasionally sending out tapes of him burning the American flag and firing a pistol into the air. He tried defying the U.S. (and the rest of the United Nations, for that matter) quite a few times and, as a result, had his ass handed to him royaly. Now he just tries to look big in front of his brainwashed followers.

that's the other problem, whenever nato or the un screws up the us always gets the blame.

now in the case of droping the smart bomb on the chinese embasy that was all are fault. what's funny was it was actually aimed at the embassy. meaning they'd rather admit that they made a really stupid mistake rather than say one of their multi million dollar firecrackers had a brain fart.

As for Saddam, didn't the US kick his arse once already(I know, we had some help)? He may be insane, but I don't think he's THAT stupid. Launching anything our way would be signing his, and his country's death warrant. Hey, like they say in the South Park movie...Blame Canada!!!(just kidding, I think Canada is a beautiful country and I would like to visit someday..just let me know where Pac lives

I like european countries, most european composers actually think that the bass trombone is a viable instrument to include in their pieces

Tell me, what has America done to you? You hate America? Would this be the same America that puts it's army on the line every day on "peacekeeping" missions? The same america that defends the underdog in half of the wars we have been in? (Vietnam, Korea, etc...) The same America that gave you many of the everyday things you use? Like that computer you're on, who made that? An American! I (and I'm sure a lot of other people) just lost all of our respect for you. Flame on PacMan, I don't think anyone is listening anymore.

I also find it interesting that the main reason Americans are hated is because we think so highly of ourselves, yet all I ever hear from Canadians is how they kicked more ass during the invasion of Normandy, or how their Air Force can kick our ass in competitions, or how they're just generally better than the U.S. in every way. It seems to me that the Canadians are more full of themselves than we are.

Ahhh, they're just pissed because their beachfront property is frozen and ours is 80 degrees pretty much year round.

Maybe it's the cold, who knows, but it DOES seem weird that the only people that I have seen bashing the U.S. are Canadians. ...and not to be egotistical, but I firmly believe that any military action between the U.S. and Canada would probably end up with Canada being an American province. Can't we all just get along? Oh, wait, maybe Saddam would join forces with Canada..he could give them his oh-so-dangerous Republican Gaurd, THAT would tip the scales in Canadas' favor! NOT!

Mason wishes to apologize to any 'nice' Canadians' out there. This tirade is aimed towards Pacman is in no way meant to reflect my personal view of Canada or its' people...FLAME ON!
