UE2 - UT2kX xproc mesh water help

im a bit rusty with the unreal engine, but i remeber before i used 3ds max to make a subdivided plane and used it as a xproc mesh to make pretty water that flowed from north to south, does anyone know how i would do this with blender?

before it was just a huge plane and it did lower the fps, is there a way i can crop it to fit the dimensions of the sculpted terrain? thanks!:D

well uhh thanks for the help lol

i managed to figure it out in blender.. heres the end result not cropped tho but i will learn soon enough.
