An update on the pack is I've hit a block once again. I started and scrapped three yesterday as I got nowhere with them, though they didn't include any older ones or Xan/Mecha. Tried making two today and got nowhere too. So, it's unlikely I'll do more as I really want to move on to other things and forcing myself to do something I've totally lost interest in is a waste of time.

There are some things I want to change about some of pt.1 though so I'll try get what is done now released by 20th and then retire

The pic of Damarus getting 0wned by Gorge is from the second scene in the "UT 2004" Single-player Intro.

@ Starry, stuff like adding the extra faces I left out, writing the (extras) bios, and adding a few surprises;

That's the Emir face redone. I'll just throw that on the Heroic/Spike/Ashur body. As with the later ones, there's a noticeable difference between character details being normal and highest with these. It's really noticeable on Vryko's face, Aquila's whole body and this face

Also, there won't be a part 2. The entire pack has been redone. It's also half the size of part 1 alone. So instead of a part 2 there'll be an Ultimate Collection final version which will have all the updated part 1 and all the new ones of part 2.

Unfortunately because of the extra work I've put into it and the fact I'll have to test it a lot before release, I won't hit the 20th deadline but won't drag it out too much after that

Klas, what about that optional patch which limited 2/3rds of part1 to the bot roster? Could you have that as a seperate folder along with the skins, if you see where I'm coming from, as I'd rather have them in the player model list?

You lost me a little, Random. Do you mean you want all those extra characters?

Everything in the first pack and patch will be replaced completely.

Where the dups are concerned I'm adding a few extra faces to the human ones and adding them to the selection screen but the others I'm not so sure about (I don't want all those extras).

One thing I was gonna' do is add species and voices for some characters as offline extras. Maybe in that folder if I just add one .upl with all dups selectable for ya as an optional extra (with the rest)? If that's what you want I might go so far as to add the red and blue ones too (with TCs the same) as it won't increase file size at all.

Currently they're all in separate .upls so I can release them all separately (on my website as SaD won't want them all) a while later for anyone who only wants one/two characters.

Just one bit of good news is Sidonius always bugged me as he had some kind of rendering problem with my video card due to the masked parts and as a result I rarely/never used him. That's fixed now and means I'll go ahead and finish Haidar now (old Leonius).

* Finally, two years later I figured out how alpha channels work (it's a bit late now)

On the subject, the extras won't be available outside the pack

Meanwhile, although I've been working on 'other' ones this is Haidar finished, since I decided to include him. The name is Arabic for lion. Leonius may be a dup name although this character may not have any dups much as I like the green/gold ones

He's not subject to change because he took so long to do. I redone his entire body three times before reverting to a modified Sidonius body in the end. Then, the team colours gave me hell to get right (yellow's always trouble grrr).

Now, I'm happy enough with him to include him though.

Oh, I could change the default colour if anyone prefers the green one for example
