What do you think of my first UT2004 Skin Dante?

I have all the Unreal/UT games except UT2003 and from what I've heard UT2004 pretty much has UT2003 inside it.

So thats alot of content to go looking through, Maybe that Unreal Championship 2004 mod team knows if there are any new Nali sounds in the Nali Slaughter gametype(I don't have an X-Box so I wouldn't know...)

From what I've seen/heard, there are no new Nali sounds in UC2, just a new nali skin (which isn't nearly as good as the orginal)

The UT99 version has him saying saying commands in a normal male soldier voice, just like the nalicow.

"Capture the enemy flag!"

Hmmm I decided to use his damage sounds as Friendly Fire sounds as I think they work well there...

As for doing them in a normal male voice it doesn't really seem like something a nali would say,

Hey Lopar if your out there could you see if you could edit a normal voice into a Nali tone deep but not too deep?, I would but I dont have any software and if I did I wouldn't know how to use it as effectivly as you...

hm a mix of nali and human language? tbh I`m sceptic if that works out well, but let`s see. There should definitaly be some Nali "slang" in the human words

They say qupada when you shoot them I think, so it may translate as 'oh sh!t!'

So a taunt would be 'You play like qupada!'

Perhaps habuji means 'hello my friend' and would be a response to the 'Cover Me' order (or all orders come to think of it)

I'm just redoing the Nali model his lack of simitry was causing animation errors because he's using the male's skeleton, I've mirrored him and aligned him to the Male Skeleton now all I need to do is reassign his verticies. Then I can test him again...

Here are a few shots me and my brother took during a deathmatch I was the Nali and he was Skaarmec:





I especially like the bottom right one I've made changes to his arms they were appearing rather flat so I had to increase the amount of Verticies in the arms to keep them round

I'm glad to see you're working on these guys and adding some more polys to them. They're looking better all the time.

Looks like a Skaarmec is delivering the finishing blow to the Nali's head, or he's dragging him around on the floor.
