Ok, so designing corporate web sites and general graphic design does not make much of a dent in this world. But I have now gained ever MORE from my friendship with CC!! I hope that if I ever need any reforming, I can go to him!

Doesn't one guy sit in the back the whole time though? Besides you never know if that explosion is going to be too big or blow up the gas tank or something (unless you bought a dozen armored cars to practice on). I say go with non-explosive AP ammo. Ironically enough it would probably be Gryphon's ammo page that would give us the inspiration for the ammo used in the hit.

Okay, you're all dumbasses. All projectiles risk damaging the cash.

Stop the truck at a road block. Just use your getaway vehicles to make it. Rent some oxyacetylene torches. Walk up to the gun ports and stand to their side, directly. Fire two shots (with a starter pistol, even.) When they open the gun ports, open the acetylene valve on full, leave the oxygen valve closed, and pump the truck full of acetylene gas. Let them choke. Next, puncture the oxygen hose near the feed with a small pin and seal the hole with oil. Loosen the nut around the valve with a wrench and tie a tough wire (garroting or fishing wire would work best) around the valve so that its able to be turned and opened by pulling on it. Place the oxygen canister at the breach of the rear doors, underneath any locking mechanisms. Get to a minimum safe distance, and open the valve on the oxygen. Compressed oxygen and oil combust when mixed, and it will burn back into the compressed tank. The ensuing explosion will blow off any mechanisms and probably the doors, if not damaging them enough to be opened. Open the doors, take all the undamaged money, and get out of there. No ballistics, no evidence, nothing.

Place the money in several luggage bags and plan a few "trips" to a country like switzerland, which is great because of a network of underground surgeons. Alter your identity (pennies to you now) and pay a forger to create a clean, legitimate, identity that will check out with the authorities in the country of your choice. Deposit the money is a numbered swiss account, then wire it to an account in luxemberg to help launder it. Cash it, take it, move to your country, and settle in comfortably.

Heh, it's amazing how many of you think it's so easy to rip off an armored vehicle and its crew.

The fire department was given a derelict armored truck to try and break into. They drilled it, and broke their bits. They cut it, and broke their blades. They torched it, and got nowhere fast. They tried using the Jaws of Life on it, and busted THEM too. Finally, TWENTY-ONE sledgehammer blows to the windshield got them inside.

We carry guns, and extra ammo. There's a 12 gauge in the cab loaded with 00 buck. The truck weighs 22,500 lbs and will crush that little getaway car of yours into scrap metal without thinking (and YOU, not to mention). The trucks have engines that can actually propel the vehicle away from the holdup scene at a rapid pace. There's a siren to attract attention. There's gun ports so we can shoot your ass down.

And as for those who think they can stick up the crew when they're outside the vehicles, let me remind you of the fact that we carry weapons, are trained to use them, and we don't shoot to wound. Sure, you may have a gun too. Sure, you may get the cash. Sure, everything may go your way. But are you willing to bet your life on it?

Just how much cash do you think you can get from 1 armored car. Probably not enough to hire a plastic surgeon and move to Switzerland.

There are lots of much easier ways to steal money (and many of them offer a much lower risk to reward ratio).

You'd do better attempting insurance fraud, or maybe some of you more l33t cats could just hack the banks computer, then wire the money to the Camen Islands and fly down for one hell of a holiday /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

after reading gryphon's ammo page i've got the hold up thing sorted.

camp some dude miles away with a Barret loaded with SLAP rounds, he can bust a cap into the driver to (hopefully) roll the truck, if not, pop one into the tyre aswell so the dead driver wont send the van off to on a rampage, storm the van with 4 blokes, open back door using benelliM3 loaded with frangible loads, that'll open door, an OICW would be an asset but i doubt you find one just laying around (or any of the other guns posted, storm the bitch with two M16a2's or M4A2's grab the dosh and drive like nothing else /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

highly unlikely to get the equipment tho, but i can dream
