@SaD yeah thats a nice package there. Is that an artbook or a background kind of book on top of the manual. And isnt Earth a RTS kind of game? Tell me if its good or not, I'm looking for a good RTS game to play thats not gay like BFME 2 and Generals

It´s the opened manual on top of the closed manual .

Earth is an RTS . The official Earth 2160 Homepage .

Here is the Story from the homepage .
I finished the first 3 missions and it´s ok .The first games Earth 2140 and 2150
are several years old , so don´t expect some graphics highlights , if you want to buy ´em .

The Story :
Only a few thousand humans managed to escape from the Earth before its collapse in 2150 A.D. They spent the next few years on the terra forming of the red planet, developing new technologies and building up new civilisations. Somehow each of the three fractions "Eurasian Dynasty", "United Civilised States" and "Lunar Corporation" did this independently and separately from each other - but in the year 2160 something strange happens in this new world. If ED, UCS and LC join forces or continue their old war against each other - is possibly now, up to the player.

Beside the usual venues in the solar system, there are some strange looking locations: planets with moving and reflecting liquid surfaces. And beside the standard RTS - resource acquisition, base building and destruction of enemy bases, the year 2160 will have some adventure inspired tasks for the players.

Thanks for the info SaD :tup: yeah you got me on processor but look at it I should be able to run it okay I guess.

It runs decent on mine, but I can't have very high settings.
Crashes to desktop from time to time too, I think it's 'cause the 9800 gets overheated. :tdown:

seconded I have a Geforce 6600 GT and from time to time it also crashes, for godess sake there is a quicksave function.

hah hah good choice. Anyway I'm still playing a little DungeonSiege 2, last time I formatted I screwed up and forgot to burn my saves to disk, so I have to start over

Currently I'm playing City of Heroes and City of villains, but I have also added Star war Galaxies to my arsenal of boredom-battlers.

My character in SWG is Auronaku Aidek. She's a bounty hunter who sympathizes with the Rebel Alliance. Here is her background;

Auronaku Aidek was a only daughter of a Senator who was murdered by Darth Vader only ten days after her birth and a entertainer who died homeless and hungry when she was five. She grew up on the streets in the outskirts of Alderaan's capital, picking up a few Bounty hunter skills along the way. As she grew, she developed a talent for pinpointing targets and killing them before other bounty hunters got the person. When she was old enough to travel, she began training with another elder bounty hunter, and when Alderaan was destroyed, she was on Dantooine snuffing out a well-known criminal. Her homeworld's destruction swore her off the Empire's support and she soon seeked to join the Rebel Alliance. Her normally cool and friendly demanour hides a leadership talent that ONLY comes out when her allies and friends are in danger, making her a formidiable enemy in battle.
