Well people, it's been a fun last 2 (I think) years but my time as I know it has come to an end. I'm moving to France to study for the next 2 years(saxophone at the Conservatoire National de Region de Boulogne-Billancourt, for those of you who are interested) and thus, my time to play INF will be drastically cut short if not eliminated (this is, of course, barring wireless internet zone in the dormitory ...).

Anyway, I guess I'll just become a forum junkie like so many of youz and live INF vicariously through the masses.

Sad to see another vet player go. Hopefully you'll be able to get a broadband access here (30 euros a month for a 6mb/s connection), or there are also a good deal of internet/games cafés in paris. Who knows maybe we'll meet again on the servers, only this time on the same time zone .
BTW what kind of housing will you have ? Are you studying jazz or classical ?

I may myself move to france within a year or so to do a PhD, in a research center in St-Louis des Trois Frontières (Alsace).

Being myslef a musician, I know what it means to be accepted in such an institution. I'm sure you are quite happy and proud to go there.

Well I'm staying (hopefully) at La Maison des Etudiants Canadiens at the Cité Universitaire and I'm studying classical. Actually, to those who might care, I'll probably end up staying and attending the "Superior Conservatory" since I'll be under the age limit.

Oh, and if the dorm thing doesn't work out, I hereby hold it to Dogg and Ant to house me for free, with food and unlimited drink for the period of two (2) years. Actually, I hear Paris is relatively crime-free compared to most other large cities ... then again, I don't plan on flaunting my wallet full of cash on the street, yelling, "You miserable whores, I have more money than all of you!" ... namely because I don't have said cash. If they rob me, they'll get the cash value of the fake leather that makes up my wallet.

la cité universitaire is a nice place for the young people , although i never been theire , but its in a good area of paris , not especialy rich but crime safe. paris is not dangerous , just some areas at night
